I know we have a lot of injuries, but giving up TWO runs of 20+ yards to backup QB Matt Shaub!?!?!? That's undefensible. The second half better show an unbelievable improvement. I stand by my earlier statement that Tice NEEDS to go. The man can't coach a team that is LOADED with talent. He's turned a QB that threw for over 4000 yards and 39 TDs into a horrible QB. He's had huge amounts of money spent on a defense that sucks. He better be gone when we go to 1-6.

Interesting commentary by Fran Tarkenton during the game (he was a guest on the radio during the game). He was watching the way the defense was playing and was heavily critical of the coaching approach. I haven't been able to watch any game besides the first this year, but his criticism was that the Vikings defense was playing almost a prevent style defense. Ok, if you are down by 24 points in the third quarter, why play a prevent defense? Why not attack the QB? Attack the WR? Simply attack? It makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I am hoping that the Vikings actually go through a rebuilding process. Start over from the ground up. Rebuild the defense. Oh yeah, FIRE THE COACHING STAFF!

Vikings didn't look good at all. The Falcons offense ran all over them, they didn't even need a passing game. Our defense looked amazing, overall great effort from the Falcons. I think VF is right, its time for Tice to take a hike.

I agree. As of right now, I think the Bears have the best chance of winning this division. Mainly because of their D and their running game.
The divsion is up in the air. Anyone can win it. Hence why you don't trade Favre. Not saying Green Bay will win. Still think the Vikings will but it's anyones guess right now.
