do coaches receive money only if they win games?

if u lose money do u not get money or u still get paid if u lose or win?

 

they have contracts, even if theyre fired they still get paid usually.

 

All coaches have contracts which guarantee them certain amounts.

Some have clauses which will see them earn more if the team achieves certain goals. Such performance based contracts are common amongst players and a few coaches as well.
