We have gone through first 4 weeks of the season, and here are my awards so far.

    Rookie of the Year:
    Carnell "Cadillac" Williams

Set rookie rushing record through first 3 games, and as of today was on pace to break Jamal Anderson's record for most attempts in a season/

    MVP:
    Donovan McNabb

Playing with all kinds of pain, and he's on pace to have 44Td's 8 int's and over 5300 yards...Wow

    Defensive Player of the year:
    Dwight Freeney

Totally unstoppable, huge reason why Colts D is acctually playing Defense

    Offensive Player of the year:
    Carson Palmer

I could put McNabb here, but I dont believe in the same guy winning 2 awards. Palmer has been playing great, and has his team at 4-0. Best No.1 pick in a while.

    Biggest Surprise:
Bucs at 4-0 and playing good enough to win the division and make so hurt in the playoffs

    Biggest Dissapointment:
tie between Bills (1-3) and Vikings (1-3). Both teams were considered to be the real deal before the season, and neither one looks like they will make the playoffs. You can throw Arizona here also, but they were more of a surprise pick, and no one should be shocked that they cant win :cheesey:

Yep same here. Also got to say instead of the Bills though. Put the Ravens in there for biggest disapointment but yea everything else is right on for me.

Yeah, those seem ok, but i think i dont like doing awards, since some players have one more game right now, and since that is 33% more makes a big difference

Yeah MVP could go to McNabb but I'd have to say Ladanian Tomlinson. Also, I wouldn't give the defensive player of the year award to Dwight Freeney, he has only had that one big game with 3 sacks and another game with one. He is an unbeleivable end but I would go with Deltha O' Neal maybe?

yeah I just had a look at that and he is the same as Freeney, just one big showing. I think maybe Freeney is a good choice, he makes defenses change their gameplan to suit him cause he is such a force. Wait until it gets deeper into the season, no defensive player is really showing up. Maybe Brian Urlacher.... has three sacks and a load of tackles! Is playing really well for a good defense

    ONE BIG SHOWING!

Hence why this is called the 1st quarter of the season awards. [IMG]
