    source.

It's nice to get a tiny bit of cap relief, but it doesn't help us much. We already have shooters in Padgett, Robinson, and Murray. I would have been happier if we got a draft pick or two instead of Nachbar.

That's what I've heard as well, and if thats the case, then its Jackson for nachbar and Thomas, which I think is a good move...both add length and thomas can score and rebound while nachbar can shoot...

Not exactly because other teams are interested in him too. For now, our biggest threat is him signing with the Spurs.

Since never. His career average for rebounds is 4.0. That is pathetic for a 6-10 guy.

Damn bad trade. Marc could've been usefull against Shaq if we ever saw him in the playoffs.

Exactly, a big body to get fouls and he has a nice jumper to perhaps decoy Shaq out of the paint. Much more than Tim Thomas can provide.

I was thinking the same thing at first, but then I figured(and maybe management figured the same) that you cant really use the hack a shaq method like the way it was in LA. Think about it in LA, you would use the hack a shaq method when Shaq gets the ball and begins to back his man down with two or three dribbles leaning his body into the defender, so you wrap him up before the shot goes up...but in Maimi, they dont really play with shaq taking two or three dribbles to get deep in the paint, they usally play off D-wade to get shaq's shot close to the basket thru his penetration, D-wade penetrates and Shaq goes straight up, if you play hack a shaq in that type of mode, I think you are going to see alot of and1, cause playing alongside Wade, shaq gets his shot up to the basket alot quicker(even tho he isnt as an effective a player as he was in LA). Now things might change come playoffs, and they might run their offense alot more thru Isolations for shaq on the post then you can use Hack a shaq, but the way they play right now, I dont think its a smart way to go about things.

Rod Thorn is roling the dice that JC can guard him a majority of the time and when you have to move Krstic over to the 5 if JC gets in to foul trouble, then Thorn knows Krstic going to give up points against Shaq, but he is thinking that it will be a situation like last year, that Shaq cant guard Krstic either, especailly Krstic's face up game and pick and pop situations, so when you see Krstic matchup up with Shaq. they will attack O'neal's lack of defense. And if all else doesnt work then they will go with Robinson matching up against Shaq....Cliff hass done it in the past out West. So all together that is about 18 fouls in bodies that can go against him.

I just don't like Tim Thomas on our team. He's been a cancer and underachiever. If he changes his way, I'll apologize but I don't see him doing it.
