I like it I htink now Wade has a solid back up so he wont get worn out to much. I like Anderson and I actually think he will do well here in Miami.
Well I've never heard of Gerald Fitch, and I don't think he was very helpful for the Heat. Best case scenario: Derek Anderson becomes healthy and becomes a contributing member. Worst case scenario: Derek Anderson remains injured or doesn't develop chemistry and doesn't play. Well Gerald Fitch wasn't really contributing, so it seems like a good deal.
aww man, i liked fitch. he's a young, confident sharp shooter. hopefully DA can show signs of his old self when he was back in portland.
DA is a nice 15-20 minute role player but I have a feeling he'll be on the injured list for a significant time the rest of the season...the Heat have enough scoring and perimeter play so I dont think this necessarily makes sense...it does nothing to help chemistry or to solve needs...

This trade really is minor and I doubt it will have a large impact on our team, but if Derek Anderson can play decent defense and hit an open jumper then I'm all for him.
