To start, it helps to have a screw loose. If a player is sane, reasonable and lucid, it can only hurt his chances, because that means he would have a clear understanding of the required task, and that might cause him to become unglued.

It also helps to be big, strong and quick; to have experience guarding prolific scorers; to possess a love of playing defense; and to welcome challenges.</div>

There's no such thing as a Kobe Stopper. There are only Kobe Containers, and Artest is one of the best at it.

no one can stop Kobe no way. Maybe he can slow him down but not stop him.

There is no such thing as a Kobe stopper, just a contain and deter Kobe and watch as the rest of the Lakers show their inability to finish.

but by that guys definition, Artest meets his qualifications.

It's a bit old, but Kobe showed theres no such thing as a "Kobe stopper" against the Kings.

Although you can argue he did an ok job. the last time kobe played the kings without artest he went off for 50. this time with artest, 36. so i guess if you can hold kobe to under 40 your doing a good job.

Everyone thinks they can contain Kobe. The only reason why anyone has a good game against Kobe is because Kobe himself has a bad night. When Kobe is on, NO ONE can stop him. Not even 5 dallas players against him! haha.

That statement actually brought a smile to my face. Kobe scoring is so extreme that if you keep him under 40, you've done an ok job.
