    Sorry, no trade fellas, but a nice article...

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"And the Lakers have been trying to shake things up ever since they tried to get for Ron Artest from Indiana two months ago. They know they aren't going anywhere with Odom."
    </div>

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The source added that even if the trade falls through today, "Odom will definitely be moved in the off-season."</div>

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"If they could make that (trade with Indiana) today, they would," the source said. "The Lakers probably are regretting that one."

    He added, "The Lamar Odom experiment has come to an end. The Lakers want to move on."</div>

    It makes sense, but this indicates two things:

    1. There's still a slight chance that a trade can go through. Right?
    2. This isn't the best thing for Odom... For all this source knows, Odom's in the locker room crying his eyes out; only later will he realize that, "Hey! The Lakers don't want me? Well I don't want them!" Then he'll play 50% for the rest of the season...

    Yes, it's possible a deal is in review right now, but very unlikely. They just had to be submitted before 3:00 Eastern.

    Knowing Mitch, he didn't know how to work the Fax machine, so he USPS'd it to the NBA offices..

    Hopefully Odom will either not see this article, or take this to heart as a wakeup call and make some changes for the better. I'm kind of interested in how Socks develops, he seems to be so raw and overflowing with potential.

    Who would be dumb enough to tell a player that they are going to be traded in the off-season if I am understanding this correctly.

    I would. I'm so sick of Lamar. I'd tell him straight up, you're gone in the offseason. You're slacking, you're ruining our team, and it's just not working for us.
