The Bulls are looking to buy out his contract because they couldn't find a trade. Should the Rockets pursue this guy since all of you complain about our PF.

I think he is a big sf.. but i dont think he can play the pf position.. ey but that gives us a good and big sf spot.. so theres no point of keeping bowen's sry self

Thomas is not what we need, a perimeter player who has underachieved all his career and is a weak rebounder and defender. He just isn't worth giving up any of our guys for, and I doubt Van Gundy would appreciate Thomas anyway. Scott Skiles is a similarly fiery coach and he's loathe to even talk about Tim Thomas.

I'd appreciate Tim Thomas..We haven't had a pretty competent SF for awhile..Keith Bogans is more of a SG and Bowen doesn't have the offense. Maybe going to Houston could rejuvenate Tim Thomas. Imagine what a big lineup we would have if Tim was our SF and T-mac moved back to SG. Damnn. C-7'6, PF-6'9, SF-6'10, SG-6'8, PG-6'2

I would like to see Thomas in silver and red...

I like his length and athleticism and would love to see him as a scorer off the bench...I think him and Stro could be a potent duo on the fast break...

but I heard NJ is after him bad, and considering that's where he's from, that could be where he ends up...

Yea...I heard the same thing. NJ is openly after Tim Thomas and waiting for him to be waived.
