It's doubtful if Davis can play tonight while Murphy and Biedrins are already back. After a promising start, they had recently dropped their records making them last in the Pacific Division. It seems that the fire Baron has bought during the second half last season has been extiguished. With their last year's lineup intact along with promising rookies like Diogu, they are supposed to be sure shot in making this year's playoffs. Adding to that the relationship between Davis and coach Montgomery has gone a little bit sour. Although there are still plenty of time to get back into the race, they have to get their acts right now and revive their explosive game otherwise it will be again another year of dissappointment. Davis should be embarrased by what Chris Paul has done to the Hornets. <font color="red">Houston Rockets:</font> The Rockets has been one of the hottest teams in the month of February with the exception of their embarrasing and discouraging loss to the Laker and the Suns. With 28 games left it would be better to take it one game at a time. It's still a 50-50 chance to make the playoffs but in order to do that they would have to exceed their 19-10 second half record last season. Recent trades have made the Rockets younger and more athletic but that will not make an immediate impact in this time of the season. Although they seem to resolve their problem in speed, toughness on both ends of the floors as well as effective ball rotation is what they need. Bobby Sura is badly missed on these aspects. Health issues might seem to have gotten better but distractions like TMac's personal problem limits the Rockets comeback. With 2 impressive game including the All Star game, we'll just hope that TMac has gotten over it. <div align="center"></div> The Rockets and the Warriors have split their first 2 games with each winning on the road. Davis is the Warriors dynamo if he'll play tonight the Rockets might have a hard time defending his penetrations. Perimeter defense will the Rockets premier assignment as the Warriors have lots of guys who can effectively shoot outside. On the other hand look for the Rockets to dominate the post with Adonal Foyle as the Warriors' only effective post defender. Richardson will get his usual numbers but the Rockets should be aware of Pietrus' capabilities. If TMac continues to regain his shooting touch and Yao being aggressive on both ends of the floor, the Rockets will take the game. Another bad shooting night in front of their home crowd might cost the Rockets this game. Updates: TMac was'nt available for tonight's game because of a death in the family. It's nice to see that the Rockets finally won this game without TMac. It's the first time they had done it without TMac. Six players have scored in double figures for the Rockets. Keith Bogans has done a great job in replacing TMac though he got cold in the second half. Yao had a rebounding game while Head gave a big boost to playmaking by dishing out 7 dimes and scoring 2 threes when the Rockets could'nt buy a bucket which in turn change the momentum of the game.
McGrady isn't playing due to a death in the family, according to posters on CF. Haven't heard about it elsewhere, yet.
Foyle's physical play down low on defense may give Yao problems, so it could be hard for us to win if TMac isn't playing. David Wesley will need to stay hot, and our production has to be there at small forward, if Bogans or Head starts in place of TMac. Predicting a tight Rockets win here, 96-92.
I do think Foyle gonna cause some problems for Yao to take it to the basket, but Adonal is 6-10 and Yao is 7-6, it's time for Yao to take some J from outside the paint, However, Yao needs to play good against any defender in the league if he wants to upgrade his play, you can't scare from Adonal Foyle, centers needs to afraid of Yao Ming, the best Center on the west side.

But yeah, CF is a pretty legit site.Aznxballer</font>
Its gonna be a yao and tmac show... Alston & wesley will need to play defense.. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ If we do that, this game will be easy. Remember: they are playing without B-Davis?
The Rockets are gonna have around 50 CF members at the game tonight. They're trying to create a section in the Toyota Center where Loud Rockets fans can get together. Hopefully they actually cheer for the Rockets instead just sit down and watch the game like all the other stiffs. The Rockets can really use a good Home Court Advantage.

I hope we can grow with the idea to more and more fans.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting drm2dnk:</div><div class="quote_post">Expecting another loss ..0-14 without mcgrady</div> Golden-State are not so good without Baron Davis like you can see in the 1st Qtr.
Even though Yao didn't have a great 2nd half offensively, the Rockets are finally able to win a game without T-Mac. I thought Keith Bogans was going to do an imitation of T-Mac, but after scoring 12 points in the first, he only got one point the rest of the way. Juwan Howard also had a great game. A couple of good drives to the basket, and an important bucket at the end. I somehow believe that Yao's last two monster games are a result of the poll listing him as the 2nd most overated. It's giving him a little extra motivation. Anyone else agree?
