"King: Just remember, if you do a good job for the next two hours, I'll give you a $25 million contract for six years! (Everyone laughs.)" This part cracked me up. Simmons is one of my favourite writers. It's crazy how many people are trying tp copy his style by combining sports and popular culture now.
That was a great article. I laughed out loud at a couple things. I'm a little upset I didn't see John Nash of Portland in there, but he hasn't been nearly as bad some of the others.
Simmons is good as a humor writer... I loved the article but I dont take his opinion on sports too seriously because he's not as informed as some other journalists...
