larry brown just doesnt fit the knicks system, his rotations are confusing, moving players in and out of the lineup, you guys keep saying fire isiah, he uses to much cap space right, and a lot of you wants a free agent big man, who would want to play for the knicks?? ben wallace is not willing to leave detroit and they just made space for him.... all you guys kept wining about saving cap space sign a key free agent, we already got so many talented players on our team, a lot of those guards can play SF too... and we got eddy curry, mo taylor, channing frye, jackie butler as big men.... who cares about cap space right now, what we need to do is find a RIGHT COACH FOR US THAT FITS WITH THE SYSTEM
Blame Isiah for bringing Brown here. Its Brown's fault at the fact he doesn't want to adjust and accept the players he have. He expects Marbury to be Eric Snow, Jamal Crawford to be Aaron McKie, Eddy Curry to be Mutumbo, and etc.... They both need to go.
Brown unquestionably has done an awful job as coach of the Knicks. I hear his first year is always full of tinkering, so I'll cut him some slack, but ask yourself this. If this were any other coach, we would all be wanting him fired. I don't like both. Me, NYCFinest, Tribute, and Jose for Knicks GM.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting bravest:</div><div class="quote_post">bravest for Assistant GM. I don't know. I just want a job...</div> Yeah, you can join us. Btw, anyone else wonder why Brown plays Malik and Mo' over David Lee? It just doesn't make sense.
David Lee was the subject of trade talks a few weeks back - maybe that has something to do with it? Nate Robinson's name was also thrown into the mix, but he's been putting along fine. bravest... Assistant GM. Sounds nice.

He's better than both of those players. Whoever said Brown is doing a good job with this team is blind.
True, very true. I'd be playing Lee over both of those cats every day of the week, but it's been my understanding that Larry Brown doesn't feel comfortable coaching/teaching young players. Whatever floats his boat, I guess. If that's true, he needs to realize that if he wishes to remain the coach of the Knicks, he needs to learn to deal with the young ones.
I know Brown isn't particulary fond of the young guys, but he needs to do what works. If playing Lee 20+ minutes means better results, then you play him the minutes.
Thats kind of paradoxical. Isiah's only good moves are his draft picks. But Larry won't play rookies. Someone has to give in. Either Isiah learns to be a better GM or Larry gives his rookies more time.
Running the Knicks is like trying to complete a Rubix Cube: It seems easy. You know it works. But for some reason it just doesn't come together...<font size="1"> </font>
LoL, I made the exact same analogy about making a trade with Jalen Rose's contract a few months ago: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Trading Jalen Rose is like solving a Rubik's Cube. Geniuses are able to solve it, but everyone else just give up in frustration.</div> Isiah Thomas seems to be the type of genius who can solve a Rubik's cube. Only he's working on some sort of evil Rubik's Cube. The moves he makes are so complex, but never amount to anything. And you know that when he solves the puzzle, the Knicks' franchise will probably be destroyed.
Yeah, but at least you spelled it right. Allow me to add onto my analogy: Running the Knicks is like trying to complete a Rubik's Cube: It seems easy. You know it works. But for some reason it just doesn't come together... You begin to get frustrated. You hand it over to a friend. He can't complete it. He passes it to another friend. He chucks it into a river. Etcetera, etcetera...

I'm all for cutting the man some slack as long as he can get us out of a lottery pick season and salvage some part of this mess. He's been tinkering with the lineup since October and should have some sense of what the heck he's doing by now. But wait with another piece just added I may have to give him another week.
