<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_fan:</div><div class="quote_post">I personally believe that this is one that all Laker/Kobe fans should stay away from. It's written at a time when he had bad feelings and alot of those things were said just to sell copies. Controversy is a great way of marketing.</div> No. A lot of people who haven't read the book seem to think that Phil wrote it all after he was fired because he was mad at the franchise and at Kobe. He was (supposedly) writing these entries in his journal throughout the whole season. Of course he could have gone back and edited things in, but I believe that the majority of the book is an accurate portrayal of what went on that year.

This doesn't seem accurate to me. Kobe is the hardest worker in the NBA, I don't think he trains to become sad. Anyway, when we won the gold, Kobe was going crazy after the game. He seemed really happy at the championship parade aswell.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting xclutchx:</div><div class="quote_post">The fact is Kobe is confortable having the ball in the ending seconds of the game, even when he was a rookie... As for LeBron its easy to tell he would rather not have to take that last shot..</div> i call bull****. Kobe's "clutchness" is a simple case of people making something out of nothing. For some reason early in his career Kobe got the clutch tag put on him....after that people raved about his makes and didnt even mention his misses, simply writing them off like "well he's made so many". The dude shoots less than 40% at the end of games...and he's missed as many if not more than he's made. I'm sorry but Lebron deserves more of a clutch tag than Kobe...and both of them dont deserve to kiss Big Shot Bob's feet.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Flames:</div><div class="quote_post">Lebron's "sorta" clutch, i remember last year his pass to Zydrunas Illgaustas who hit the overtime forcing three pointer with seconds left, after Phoenix was up by 25 and Bron took over.fact is he sucks tho, only good at dunks, and pretending to be jordan.</div> good to see an educated totally unbaised post

The first being, not getting more involved in repairing the rift between Shaq & Kobe. 02civic the clutch tag wasn't just given to Kobe. It was earned through his results on the court. I think the ultimate judge are his peers. No one puts more fear at the end of a game than Kobe does. In the All-Star game when the West team needed a basket, they counted on Kobe to deliver for them and responded with a game tying 3 pointer. Kobe is one of the few players who want the ball at the end of games.
hells ya with brasco, who knows if Lebron will stay there. He will be hated for life but, who knows whats going to happen.
you know what.. i don't agree with the fans booing lebron, but i don't agree with all of these beat-writers and whatnot making such a big deal out of it.. so he got booed cuz he sucked for a half a game.. big deal! lebron doesn't need to be babied that much.. i don't see how any player is above getting booed for doing a bad job.. of course it takes idiotic fans to boo a franchise player if all he's doing is giving effort with shots just not falling in..

( vs Dallas ). Has LeBron hit two clutch three's in the waning seconds to secure #1 in the division? (Vs. Blazers, last game of season). Has LeBron hit game winners in playoff games?(vs Blazers and Spurs). Has LeBron hit a dagger three to tie the game in the waning seconds of the NBA FINALS? Has LeBron started a season by hitting the game winning jumper on opening night? Kobe has. The fact that you want to put a guy who's just starting his career above Kobe Bryant in the clutch category is pure ignorance. LeBron hasn't doen sh*t yet. That doesn't mean he won't, but right now...your argument's laughable. Oh- and has LeBron his 3 clutch jumpers in Kobe's face to win the game like Kobe did to him earlier this year? didn't think so.
