Who is going to take the N.F.C North? Not just because I am a bears fan but I genuinly think the Bears could snatch it, not saying that they will go 10-6 or 11-5 but they could even take it with a 8-8 record or even 7-9? Geez what has happened to this division? The Pack and Minnestoa are in trouble. I was worried that minnesota might get something going after their win to N.Orleans but they got wiped out by the falcons. Any thoughts?
The Bears have the most solid team at the moment and if Orton could step up his play they could threaten to run away with it.
Does it really matter? Whoever wins this pathetic division will get killed their first playoff game anyways.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (favre4mvp)</div><div class='quotemain'>Does it really matter? Whoever wins this pathetic division will get killed their first playoff game anyways.</div> Why??? I mean two 8-8 teams won last year in the playoffs on the road. So theres a good chance of someone winning it. I personally think no one is the clear cut favorite. I stand by my pick. The Vikings will go 9-7 and win the divsion.
It will probably be a worse record than that. maybe 7-9 haha. Considering this is the year of the crappy record for the division champ. i.e. Padres
the nfc north is a joke could win the divison with a losing record. The NFC South team that goes 9-7 might not make the playoffs, cuz Bucs, Panthers, Falcons, and Saints could all go at least 8-8
yea but im sick of ppl puting down bears i jus think of it as if kyle can do good or when rex comes back the bears will be fine when we get a Qb in there that is doin well i mean we didn;t have brett favre in our 13-3 season so yea jus need some one that can play the position well enough and i think kyle is ok but i like rex better still and the packers cant talk anything i mean come on 0-4 maybe every one has a chance but arent they the only team with a 0-4 record come on now.
Bears have the best defense in the division. Bears have the best offensive line in the division. Bears have the best running game in the division. Bears have the best wide receiver in the division. Bears have the best special teams in the division. The only question mark on that team is Orton. If he can put it together and not beat the Bears by throwing picks and making rookie mistakes, I really think they can take the division.

Anyways if Orton does play solid they should and will win the divsion. The Bears have some talent and that defense looks good. I guess since my team is yet to win a game I shouldn't be allowed to talk..... I mean no one on here at this time has talked down the Bears at in a while at least. I'll admitt when they beat Detroit I said they won't win because of Orton and I stand by that. I also said that because I didn't want you guys like Lions fans before let that get to your head. Good thing it didn't. I still think Minnesota will win the divsion partially because I don't want to flip flop but like I said if Orton gets it together than the Bears will likely win the North. What keeps Packer fans optimistic is the fact that if they win next week they'll be at top of the divsion along with everyone else. I am also saying that win will have to come sooner or later because if the Pack start 0-5 and someone else gets a W next week then it's likely that the Pack will be done. Notice the dissapointments are the Packers and Vikings because of the sucess those 2 teams have had in the past 2 or 3 years. Notice those fans are pretty much down where as the Bears and Lions fans are actually in some ways excited because there in the hunt at this time right now and neither team is considered a dissapointment. hmmmmmmmm
Is there some contest between the NFC north & NFC west to see who can be the worst? lmao. Could the east have the playoff teams; Eagles, Skins, & Giants? Its to bad Miami isn't in the NFC even they could get a playoff spot this year.
Week 4 and already taking the Pack out of the race?? I think green bay will be 6-10 but u never know. If the Packers win vs. NO then they start out like they did last year. 1-4!!!!!!! lets see 1-4 start = division last year. y not this year!?! if the packers beat the Saints id be a bit scared. I think they have a good chance with the way the division is playing. None of the teams won their last game but out of all of the games i think Green Bays was the best. They left with a lot of momentum and maybe could bring it against NO.
I pray that thats true, but they do not have the same team they did last year, no where near the same team. They are minus their best o-lineman, Javon Walker, Sharper and a lot of others. I think they will turn it around but they can not be compared to last years team. I hope they kill NO, they had a lot of momentum after last game, hope they keep it.

My pick before the year started was the Vikings to win the North and the Packers to make the wild card. I hope GB wins the North and I think they have as good as a chance as anyone else. Vikings were my pick and I won't flip flop.
GB is really gonna be dependent on Green getting some holes. If you cant run the ball you arent gonna win

But he really hasn't shown up when the Lions needed him to. Moose led the league in receiving yards last year and is a proven verteran. Orton doesn;t even need to throw touchdowns, Thomas Jones will run the ball and the defense will score, and if the bears can just get doug brien into good field position. Remember the bears could be 2-1 now if he had of kicked a field goal against Washington.

Either way Orton needs to manage the game well but he HAS TO THROW!! When he does he just can't do something stupid with it and you'll be in most games.
Good Call, should and could bes are not wirth anything in the nfl, but you understand that one game either side of 1-1 can make a lot of difference. In fairness they have been beaten by two undefeated team and although I don't rate the 'Skins to get deep into the playoffs if they make them at all, Cincy look pretty good and the Skins have got a great defense! When the Bears did click, they destroyed Detroit
