    <u>Keys To The Game</u>

<u>Contain The Perimeter</u>: The Wizards trio (Arenas/Butler/Jamison) have brought this team right on track to winning games and their keys were shooting. Knicks aren't known to cover the perimeter well, but it's going to be an important task if they want to stop the trio tonight.

<u>Make Free Throws</u>: The Knicks missed 15 free throws last night and they were really costly when they were getting back into the game. Nailing them would really help.

<u>No Early Deficits</u>: The Wizards aren't exactly known for getting big early leads, but the Knicks can't get lazy on transition defense and give up easy buckets. Doing so can hurt them.

    <u>Keys To The Game</u>

<u>REBOUND</u>: It's been a key for the Wizards this whole season to rebound. Whenever they outrebound the other team, they almost always win, but tonight they go against the Knicks who are 6th in the league in rebounds.

<u>HOME COURT DOMINATION </u>: They’re at home and the visiting Knicks must be taught a lesson. The Wizards need to win this game in dominating fashion and send a message to everyone.

    Awful.

Gilbert has gone off, and the Knicks are the Knicks.

Looks like Isiah's brilliancy of stock-piling talent is working to perfection. Or just as expected.

I know, but I don't like when people blame Isiah for what's going on when it is equally or maybe even more Brown's fault. Brown has done an <u>awful</u> job with the Knicks and both should be fired, really.

I agree he has done an awful job. He isn't adjusting to his players, he isn't accepting the team, and thats the main issue. But I think Isiah knew that was going to happend, I knew it was going to happend, and I'm like here....man when are we going to collapse, I guess I asked for it too early.

But in real talk, who can save this team? I just wished there was a miracle, and a God-like savior guy came in, took over Dolan/Isiah, got a new coach, traded everyone...and started from a clean slate....that would be my dream man.

Its hard to blame brown. Scroll through a list of the "trouble maker"/"headcases" of the NBA and then check out the Knicks roster. Pretty similiar eh. Every single one of your key players has a history of being one or more of:

    1) being selfish
    2) absolutely 100% positively refusing to play defence
    3) problems with past coaches or even outright uncoachable

When i look at the Knicks roster i cant decide if its a list of the most overpayed players in the league or a list of the biggest has beens and never weres.

Blame Isiah for being an idiot, Brown for not realizing this team was not coachable and that no way it could be traded into something managable anytime soon.

Actually, it?s not. Brown has said that this bunch was coachable on many, many occasions. He?s said that about just about every single Knick on the team. Brown said it himself ?I have to do a better job coaching.?

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) being selfish</div>
The only person that can be said about is Francis and he was just traded to the Knicks, so he obviously doesn?t count. I know you?re going to say Marbury next. Everyone who watches the Knicks instead of listening what the media feeds them knows Marbury isn?t selfish?at least not when he was playing with the Knicks. Now let?s move onto Crawford, another player you?re bound to say is selfish. He?s not selfish. Does he have a high basketball IQ? No. This season Crawford looks for his teammates more than he does his own shot. In fact, Brown said Crawford has made the biggest improvement of anyone on the roster.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">2) absolutely 100% positively refusing to play defence</div>
They?re a bad defensive team. Players like Marbury and Richardson have improved greatly on the defensive end. Overall they?re still a bad defensive team. It?s partly the coach?s job to improve on this aspect right? Trevor Ariza used to be our best defender and was ranked as the 4th best small forward in the league on defense last year. What?s his excuse for having him on the bench? So, we?re struggling on the defense and he has our best defender on the bench.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3) problems with past coaches or even outright uncoachable</div>
It doesn?t matter what happened in the past, it matters what happens now. Brown isn?t having problems with players?the players are having problems with him. How on earth are you to build chemistry when you?re coach is ripping you apart to the media. He called Ariza delusional and said Marbury couldn?t understand something because he went to Georgia Tech for a year and that?s an engineering school. When you?re coaching is saying things like this it?s only going to only alienate the team. Again, how can the players be uncoachable when Brown himself said they are coachable?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When i look at the Knicks roster i cant decide if its a list of the most overpayed players in the league or a list of the biggest has beens and never weres.</div>
Despite this it still has the most ratings out of anyone in the NBA and still gets the most paid out of anyone. What?s your point?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Blame Isiah for being an idiot, Brown for not realizing this team was not coachable and that no way it could be traded into something managable anytime soon.</div>
I blame Isiah for bringing in Larry Brown. I also noticed you neglected the fact the Knicks had 32 different starting lineups this season and even more rotations. Are the players to blame for being confused about Brown?s lack of continuity? One day a player can go from 15 minutes to 40 minutes to 21 minutes in three consecutive games. This is not NBA Live players need to find a certain rhythm within the season and gel together. What about the injuries? Forgot those too? Marbury, one of the league?s most durable players, missed 11 games this season. Curry also started the season injured and out of shape by no fault of his. When the Knicks play with Curry and Marbury their record is 15-19. While that?s still not good, it?s a much better win percentage than they have right now. When the Knicks went on their 6-game win streak beating teams like Dallas, Cleveland, and Phoenix there was some consistency in the lineup and player rotations. The players have even told Brown they?re having difficulty adjusting to his ever-changing rotations and Brown said he?ll need about 20 games to find a set rotation. It?s been 55 games, by the way. So, by Brown?s own admission he said he needs to do a better job coaching.
