Hoo boy...as if it weren't bad enough that the Packers dropped to 0-4 for the fourth time in team history, they had to lose half the team along the way...

Ahman Green, N'ail Diggs, Terrence Murphy, Chad Clifton, Earl Little, Mike Flanagan...that's quite a list.

However...on the bright side, I think Scott Wells is a better center at this point than Flanagan is. And I'm serious about that. Flanagan is aging and under-sized and hasn't been anchoring the middle of the line very well. I really think Wells will keep the job, even after Flanagan is healthy again.

I don't know who the Packers are going to bring in at receiver. A practice squad guy? There really aren't any receivers out there right now. I wish they would have gotten Koren Robinson before the Vikings did.

I don't know... This is going to be a long season (as evidenced by my new signature).

    Jerome Pathon here we come!!!

Green should be fine but the others I don't know much about. Diggs sustained an injury similar to the one that kept him out the first 2 weeks and majority of Training Camp. His left leg this time.

I guess it's saft to say whether we like it or not. The Dark Ages have returned even with Favre. A year earlier than I thought. Good news is that the entier NFC North is under the Dark Ages as well.

Actually, Pathon signed with another team a week or so ago, so he's not available anymore. That's why I'm really wondering who's left?

I saw a story on ESPN last week that said Kevin Dyson is out there looking for work. He made it to the final roster cuts with the Redskins this year, but still hasn't found a team. He might have a bit left in the tank.

    Kevin Dyson here we Come!!!

Anyways I am sure Craig Bragg a 6th round pick from UCLA who is currently on the practice squad will get promoted to the acitve roster. Hopefully we can find someone. Gulp!! Fred Ex maybe. I'll take him now. Favre always makes avrage receivers look good.

He's tall and has long arms, but I think he has lost a step.

Andre Davis would be the best choice. He is a real speedster that could really help the offense. How is Murphy doing after that sick hit by Thomas Davis?

Actually, Davis won't be fined. Al and John were talking about how it wasn't an illegal hit because Murphy was a ball carrier at the time. Helmet to helmet hits are generally only fined when they involve the QB or a defenseless receiver or running back who doesn't yet have the ball.

Yea I heard them talking. I thought they were talking about that he couldn't be penalized for the hit.

Thomas Davis did a legal hit. I cant wait till he learns how to play the pass because Mcree is getting run over in the running game but McCree has good cover skills. Hes been coming on the field on 3rd down as a LB. So i hope he progresses sometime soon because hes gonna be a huge force in the middle
