i did the math, and in order for us to catch the grizzlies, we will have to go 10-0, and they will have to go 6-6 at least.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DynastYWarrioR6:</div><div class="quote_post">We just might catch the Grizz</div> I wish we could, but I doubt it. The Grizzlies have the easiest schedule in the NBA to close out the season. We are 4 games back with just 10 to go, so we would have to win almost all our games and have the Grizzlies lose one of their key players.
Hopefully the Grizz pass the Clips. They (clips) have a tough schedule remaining. We have a better chance at catching them.
good news. the hornets just lost to the jazz so that creates an even bigger hole for the 8th seed and the 9th. i like our chances of making the playoffs link: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=Aum...?gid=2006032726

Statistically, any nine combination's of the Hornets losing and the Lakers winning will insure the Lakers the minimum of the eighth playoff spot. The Jazz beat the Hornets yesterday so make that eight combinations. I'll add a new statistic to represent this in the "Math" column.
