We were so lucky over the weekend...when we lost games we could've/should've won but luckily so did all the people that are chasing us or who we are chasing (Kings)...we actually managed to move up lol...funny how things are...now we seriously have to win tonight..

I'll change it so if we look back, it will be accurate. However, after tonight's game, we're going to be in the 7th spot. [IMG]

Kwame Brown just went down with an injury, it's going to get very interesting again for the Lakers.

i did the math, and in order for us to catch the grizzlies, we will have to go 10-0, and they will have to go 6-6 at least.

I wish we could, but I doubt it. The Grizzlies have the easiest schedule in the NBA to close out the season. We are 4 games back with just 10 to go, so we would have to win almost all our games and have the Grizzlies lose one of their key players.

Hopefully the Grizz pass the Clips. They (clips) have a tough schedule remaining. We have a better chance at catching them.

    Notes

Were nearly there! Statistically, any nine combination's of the Hornets losing and the Lakers winning will insure the Lakers the minimum of the eighth playoff spot. The Jazz beat the Hornets yesterday so make that eight combinations. I'll add a new statistic to represent this in the "Math" column. Once we officially make the playoffs, I'll add statistics for the first, second and third Western Conference finishers.

I agree, the Clippers April schedule is brutal. If the Lakers can keep this win streak alive and the Clippers collapse in typical Clipper fashion then the 6th seed would be ours.
