<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jackson has been leaning toward making Brian Cook the full-time starting power forward in order to provide a more consistent offensive push after tipoff, and Tuesday was a step toward that. Jackson started Cook and had him guard Orlando's lean center, Tony Battie, and used center Chris Mihm on Howard, Orlando's main inside scorer. Jackson said he talked to Brown on Monday after being upset with Brown in the game Sunday night for not hustling after a ball. Jackson said one of his messages to Brown was: "I haven't lost confidence in you." But Jackson's words to reporters before the game Tuesday didn't exactly resonate with confidence. Asked where Brown's head was, Jackson said: "I have no idea." Asked if Brown gets the triangle offense, Jackson pondered for a full seven seconds before saying: "Yeah, he does, but " and then launched into an explanation of Brown's inability to set aside his eagerness to score and play team offense. "You've got to be able in your environment and still be capable of reading and comprehending what else is going on around you," Jackson said. "That's where Kwame's growth pattern is - dropping anxiety or the energy about trying to do really well, and getting in the flow of what's going on."</div> Source
Well, according to Ronny, he's building Kwame's confidecen back up. I've seen what Kwame can do with confidence (just ask Chris Webber, Jermaine O'neal), it's a very, very scary thing.
I really like Cook but I seem to believe in Kwame for no apparent reason so no I dont think Cook will start the rest of the way, I've always liked Kwame cause Mike liked Kwame but I saw him do a few good postmoves against Orlando and I was impressed but I still find it hard to believe that he's done this bad in his NBA career.
I think its because Cook seems like a role-playing PF, although he is more consistent and works harder than Kwame. While Kwame has the potential and build to be a starting good PF, although he doesn't seem to put his heart into it and is inconsistent.
