<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Houston Rockets may have ended February on a sour note, but they like the direction their heading in with seven weeks remaining in the regular season. Houston looks to continue its recent solid play when it hosts a Philadelphia team it hasn't lost to in over four years. The Rockets went 4-11 in November, 6-7 in December and 5-11 in January before turning things around with a 10-3 mark in February as Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady finally got healthy. Yao averaged 21.7 points, 11.4 points and 1.8 blocks in the month, while McGrady posted 19.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists. Yao had 27 points and 18 rebounds, but McGrady had just 13 points on 6-for-18 shooting as Houston had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 111-94 loss to Pacific Division-leading Phoenix on Monday. "We're playing with more intensity and we're playing harder," Houston rookie Luther Head said. "If we keep doing that, we're going to beat most teams. If Yao plays the way he played tonight, and if we could get everyone to play with him to the best of their ability, then I think we could be a really good team." Philadelphia lost to a really good team on Monday, falling 104-92 at Western Conference-leading Dallas to have its three-game winning streak come to an end. Allen Iverson had 29 points, but it wasn't enough as the Sixers fell behind early and struggled to come back. Philadelphia trailed by 17 points after the first quarter, cut the lead to 10 at halftime, but was down 15 heading into the fourth as the Mavs went on to win their 15th straight at home. "With a team being good like they are, and them being at home, it's just that much harder to try and play uphill all game," Iverson said. "And that's what we had to do was fight a deficit the whole game." Chris Webber returned to the lineup after missing the previous game due to the stomach flu, and finished with 19 points and eight rebounds. Leading rebounder Samuel Dalembert, however, missed his third straight contest with a sprained ankle. The Rockets have won the last seven meetings with the Sixers since a 112-106 overtime loss at Philadelphia on Jan. 15, 2002, and have won four straight in the series in Houston since the 2001-02 season.</div> link: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/preview?gid=2006030110 once again, no preview. if you want to make one, be my guest and all game dissussions will go there, but as for now, talk about the game here. im too lazy to make one. lol
I’ll do my best to cover the upcoming ones, my life is pretty busy right now so I can’t promise anything. As far as the game it’s had a lot go on so far a couple technical, Dre jumping out the building, etc. Good close game so far where up by six.
A.I did the damn thing tonight...so did Webber(what way to cap off a birthday eh?). Whatever A.I was feeling about the olympic thing, he must have taken it out on the Rockets.
This game was an up and down game, and it looked like the Rockets were going to take the second half after they built an 11 point lead in the the 3rd quarter. The 76ers did a good job at responding. You can tell AI had a little extra fire in him during this game, he is dissapointed that he didn't get the invite to go to the Olympics. Webber play good on his birthday, and Korver provided a lift out of the bench. It wa sa team effort, and AI definitely was the player of the game dropping 40 and 10. Good game overall, breaking that 7 game losing skid against the Rockets.
i hate webber... he tries to drive in with no handles.. He looks down while he dribbles.. and when he goes in for a layup, he jacks up a stupid hook shot.. The only reason sixers won was because of iverson.. Sixers r a 1 on 1 team.. They give it to 1 player and he tries to shoot it over his opponent.. i hate when they do 1 on 1 like that... Look at suns.. They make good passes for good shots.. sixers need to do that without letting iverson/webber/korver/igoudala do 1 on 1 and try to shoot in their opponents face. They r so dumb that they would rather go 1 on 1 than try to get points by passing the dam ball.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dawg..we won, so why are you complaining?</div> He's a Rockets fan...

If C Webb really did that he'd be helping out the 76ers opponents, so why you mad? Don't get mad, and although they do have times where they do a porr job at moving the ball they also have times when they make plays for each other. Look how they got the ball to Kyle Korver, and he was raining 3's on the Rockets. Was that 1-on-1?
well, it was a good win by the sixers. at a point there, i thought we were going to lose another frustrating game. but good thing AI caught on fire to let us seal the win. it wasnt the prettiest win, but again, a win is a win
No win is ever pretty with this team! Although 75 percent of them could be, if not for Mo's coaching.
