I traded Lebron James for Ray Allen and Delonte West. I desperately need 3 pointers, and Lebron was ruining my FT% and A/T ratio. I was am just a couple points from being #1 in the league, and that's how it's been all season. Will this move kill me in the standings? Or finally push me over the hump. Three pointers are the category in which I can get the most points, so Ray Allen is the best person for that. He scores just a little less than Lebron, but turns the ball over a lot less as well.
So far, Ray Allen and Delonte West have combined shooting 9 for 16 from downtown in 2 games since my trade. Lebron has been playing crappily and got booed again tonight. Thus, it's looking good for me so far!
in terms of 3s 3 ptM definitely you have the edge same case with 3pt% you will lose out in rebounds and blocks though...not by much it's a good trade overall ray is good, i have him on my team, and delonte is underrated it will be a steal for you if delonte stays hot
You should've waited for better offers. I'm not saying this was a vad trade but you should've gone after maybe Shawn Marion or Dwight Howard or Chris Bosh who wil get you a double double almost guaranteed.

Shawn Marion is the only one on the list remotely worth Lebron. P.S. -- You obviously know zilch about fantasy basketball if you think Dwight Howard is a good option. 10 points and 10 rebounds are not worth the detrimental effects of 40% ft shooting and a 0.20 A/T ratio, especially when I am already really high in both of those categories. This wasn't an offer either. I was the one who incited this trade, because I needed to move Lebron.

then you can move on without lebron i always like to trade away star players to get 2 very good players because of more games played, more flexibility etc and your team will perform better as a result that's why i keep on winning good luck on winning your league i can see it coming
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">I think you could've gotten a way better offer for LeBron, but whatever.</div> I could have gotten a better all-around player, but considering my position I think I got the best deal for the scenario. What do you think? Also, I offered Lebron for Marion to the guy who had him, but unfortunately, he was one of those bastards who don't even pay attention to the league. Last year I got Marion + Ben Wallace for Paul Pierce, because people tend to think bigger names are better, but that's a
dude if you needed 3 pointers then you should have made a lebron for kobe plus a crappy player trade... have you seen kobe's 3pt per game for the last maybe 10 games he makes around 4 per game

I have Kobe and I didn't need to give up Lebron.
UPDATE: I have no increased one point in 3pt%. I didn't even think of that. I am one point away from tying first place, and am coming up on the guys in steals and threes. I'll keep you posted
It was a risky move, but if 3point shooting is what you needed then Ray Allen was the best player to take. He leads the league in 3 pointer's made, gets all around stats and shoots a high clip at the FT line. You have Kobe already so, the only other players I would have considered in the situation would be Billups or Nash.
I'd take Nash instead of Billups. nash also has a nice FG% (0ver 50%), great with FT, assists and steals.
Dude you did get the better end of the deal, Ray Allen for some reason still gets drafted kind of low, but he's awesome. You have some harsh responses to some people who are just putting in their input, try being a little more considerate. Lebron is awesome, no one doubts that, but getting Allen and Delonte definetely helped your team out, and sadly he hurt his ankle in the Pistons game. I hope he's going to be all right, I'm not a fan or anything, but it would be sad if the Cavs go to playoffs without their star.
For the record, the Lebron trade for Ray Allen brought me from #2 to #1, and I won that league. Hooray for trading Lebron! Also, this mock league sucks: Here are my reasons: 1) Teams were assigned before I got a chance to sign up, so I got a crappy team. 2) It was insinuated that I was an idiot for asking a question 3) It was insinuated that I was an idiot for asking a question, again. 4) This whole thing is so scattered and unorganized. 5) Nobody knows what they're doing. 6) The guy who's running it deletes posts that he doesn't like-- powertripping. 7) Players are missing from teams rosters 8) Remedy spams the crap all over the board and peoples PM boxes
