Stephen A. Smith said last night that a short time ago Quentin Richardson had to be restrained from beating the hell out of Stephon Marbury. What's going on there? Why does the team hate Starbury?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. He said a lot of people on the roster HATE Marbury, Knicks fans?

Yeah, this was during the losing streak and emotions were running high.

He said Marbury said, "Step it up, Q"
Q said, "Maybe I'm having this season playing next to you."

Then the whole thing started. It's squashed now, though. And I don't think everyone on the team hates Marbury. It's just the losing making everyone irritable.

^he didn't get that contract because of playing with Nash, it was his play before joining the Suns. While Q is one of my 3 favorite players, I'll admit he does need a star player to feed off to make him better. Although I do love Marbury, he isn't that kind of player Q needs. Playing alongside any All-Star, I truly believe Q would thrive once again.

Q had decent seasons with the Clippers.

There is no hiding that where Marbury is there will be trouble and the team won't win games. In Minnesota, after they got rid of him, they started winning. With NJ, they didn't win, they then traded him and they started to win. Same with Phoenix. He isn't a winner. He never will be.

I think the Marbury loser thing is so blown out of proportion.

Let's forget that everywhere he has gone has been in somewhat of a rebuilding phase. Also what about the fact he's played for 12 coaches in 10 seasons in the NBA?

Q has had problems this season knocking down shots for us this season. His offcourt problems could be a reason why, but we can't blame Q's season on Marbury.

well, the knicks obviously have problems in the lockerroom, and it doesnt seem like the players like marbury much. i think the only way for the knicks to start winning, is to just start from scratch. dont trade for stupid contracts, like francis, trade away marbury, and try to get more draft picks. obviously Isaiah hasnt ever heard of the word rebuild, so he keeps adding new players, and disrupting the chemistry even more.

btw, whats up with the sig mr.j?

Well, the Knicks wouldn't have had any cap space until Marbury's contract is up. Francis and Marbury's contract expire the same time, so it works out, really.

My sig? I was PWNed by Swish15. I'll be taking it off by Sunday though. [IMG]

If Isaiah is still around then, the expiring contracts will be traded away, so expiring simultaneously might not matter.

We made a bet on the rookie sophomore game. I thought the rookies would win. Those bastards.

LoL, you are so freakin delusional. That is very funny b. no1 will ever make that trade. Anyways Marbury has been a huge disapoint this season. Yes he's been injured but he's lead a team to the worst record in the league. didnt he say we were definetely making the playoffs this year?
