Cavs has had as much as a 25 point lead in the game...but has already blowed it and the game is tied at 81 with with 3:50 remaining...
Hinrich misses 1 of 2 free throws and Flip Murray hits a wide open 3 in the corner! Cavs lead 92-91 with 3.9 seconds left!!! CAVS WIN!!!
I was just really surprised that no one mentioned the 4 steps Gordon took when Lebron blocked him. Good thing Lebron got it. Because that play could've turn the outcome to the Bulls.
That last quarter is a type of quarter that can be a springboard for Murray. Most casual fans don't know anything about this kid other than he filled in well for Allen two seasons ago. Flip not only has talent but he is one of the toughest minded players in the game. He is a rhythm scorer that needs to know he is a top option for him to put up stellar numbers. This is definitely a game that can get him rolling to the point where he is becoming a consistent 17+ a game scorer for the Cavs. And, I'm telling you that some people don't want the burden of losing games--and LeBron is one of them. I honestly think that you will see Murray getting more fourth quarter looks as the season where's on b/c he is a guy who is running to the ball late in games while other people are running away from it. And if he misses it won't deter him from making the next basket. I've seen him make a ton of big shots two seasons ago in Seattle w/o changing his expression at all. His intensity always goes up in money time. I'm excited to see that the Cavs are giving Flip a genuine opportunity to prosper and I think that in the next coming games he will definitely show that he is worthy of the opportunity that he is receiving.
^^ flip is a huge spark and def worthy of good chances, just can't give him too many regular minutes because his defense is very weak, whether it is from lack of effor or what. But he can definatly be a big help for you guys down the stretch.
Wow. Cavs fans should be REJOICING Flip bailed them out. The media was going to have a field day with this Cavs team if they lost. But even with the win, you can't hide the fact that they are slipping. 25 point lead and barley won against the Bulls? Right now, I'm sure 100% sure the Cavs are going to make the Playoffs because the Eastern Conference playoff teams are pretty much set. The team looking on the outside is the Bulls but I doubt they will make it. At the end of the day it's going to be all about seeding and the history this team had in the 2nd half and the fact that things never changed I for one wouldn't be surprised if they fell as low as the 7th seed. The Cavs need to get things going because it's going to look real bad on King James rep if he can't come through when need be.
