    From CBS sportsline:
The Washington Post reports that LaVar Arrington's demotion to the bench could be followed by his release. Arrington, 27, obviously wants to play, but says he won't complain about it. The Washington Times says he already envisioning himself as an ex-Redskin.

PLZ PLZ John Fox and Marty Hurney pick up this Arrington if he gets released!!!

I think a lot of teams will want to take a look at him. The Bills, first and foremost, after losing Spikes for the year.

Looks like the one block arrington couldnt run around was the one greg willams setup between him and the field. I guess if he had taken on one block in his career he would still be on field.

If no one took Boulware this season, why would you think anyone would take Arrington.

I think the Skins know they can do just fine without him. I'd like to see the Vikings pick him up and actually blitz.

Arrington HASN'T been injured??? He's only played 7 games in the last two seasons. He made 2 tackles last year. (Stats from NFL.com) If Arrington can dominate a game, why hasn't he? All I heard, when he came into the league, was that he was going to be the next Lawrence Taylor. Except for one good year in 2002, Arrington hasn't done crap yet. What's he waiting on? Arrington is all hype.

It doesnt matter but they would do better with him in at LB and they would have a much better defense with him in.

I dont think brandon short is the anwser right now. Arrington would be a huge pickup for the panthers. With Jenkins out, the panthers need a great run defender like Arrington

arrington is pass rush linebacker and is horrible vs run, and not explosive enuf anymore to do pass rushing as effectively.

Panthers need a OLB that can rush the passer. Panthers have only 4 sacks, Arrington could bring like 8 sacks a year

Maybe 2 sacks if you leave him in every down and he forsakes all responsibility. He isnt the same player he was before, which wasnt that good anyway

I forgot about fox's jesus like powers to heal people and make them young again so he regains expolosiveness. Yep, you are right. It is amazing that he can do that for lavar, and couldnt for the team last year [IMG]

A change of scenery is sometimes all a guy needs to "find himself" again. Don't know if a different coach ever helps, but sometimes you just need "out."

The only problem is that most teams dont have enough money to sign a great player like Arrington

I really have to wonder what game some of you guys are keeping up with, because it certainly isn't the NFL. How is Lavar Arrington going to get anyone eight sacks a year? He has played six and only gotten eight once and that was 2002 when he got eleven. He only has 22 sacks now, so he got half his sacks in one year and hasn't done crap any of the other years. Ooooh!!! He has a whopping 3.something sack per year average. The INDISPUTABLE Truth is that Lavar Arrington has NEVER been a dominate defensive player in the NFL, so there is no going back to playing like his old self unless you send him back to college. Perhaps you can get eight sacks a year out of Arrington on Madden, but that's a video game. This is real life. Lavar Arrington is lucky to still have a job in the NFL.
