The easy part of the schedulre starts here. We are going to some teams that are in the same situation that the Ravens are in also. The Lions have signed Jeff Garcia in the offseason that was supposed to make Harrington fight for his job but ended up getting injured in the process. He has shown some maturity the controversial game against the Buccaneers. So they are hoping to rebound to that lost and win this week,

    Defense
The best plan against a QB like Joey is to keep good coverage and pressure him at the same time. That is where he will crack and either throw it away or let one loose and hope that we will get an interception. After Charles Roger's suspension, Marcus Pollard may be his go-to guy this game. Since the Ravens have great CB's covering the wideouts, TE's may be his best chance of getting short yardage. And as well, stop the run. The Ravens had an exceptional run stopping game against Curtis Martin last week and hope they can stop a younger leaner Kevin Jones. And try not to get fooled by the play action.

    Offense
The running game will be put to the test as the Ravens' center, Mike Flynn, he will match up against Shaun Rogers. They may have to avoid running through the middle as much as possible because Rogers can clog the middle. In the passing game, we can just the size advantage of Todd Heap or Clarence Moore go to outside and hope that they will be matched up against Dre'Bly or Andre' Goodman. They are exceptional cover corners but lack the physical strength to jump for the football.

This could be an ugly game. I don't see either team running against the other.

In fact, this will probably be the most boring game of the day on Sunday. I think Baltimore will win, but it's really a coin flip type of game.

A big special teams play or a defensive TD will probably win it for one of these teams.

Joey Harrington won't step up. The Ravens should win this one, I think it will be a close game, with a low score. As PA said, it probably will be an ugly game.

I think the ravens will do good, Jamal Lewis is set for a breakout game. I picked him 4th overall, so he better start running for 200 yards a game

Completely unexpected. My prediction for this game was way off, I'm really surprised by the outcome.

We didn't lose because of the Lions, it was because of the penalties. Over 20 penalties for over 100 yards.

That and the turnovers. How many turnovers did you guys have like 4? The Ravens should have had this game, they killed themselves.

Harrington played horrible but the Ravens stunk. Lions defense played great. There tough at home.

The team has good talent yet, but it has the signs of a team that could fall apart. I'm not saying they will or should, but the signs are there.

    1. 20 penalties in a game?

    2. Their nickel corner that has to cover the tough slot guys is old and couldn't catch Bryson, who has to be the Lions 20th fastest guy.

    3. 35 points to the Lions? You could argue they are a Brooks Bollinger start away from 0-4. Thats the only team they've held under 20, isn't it?

Billick needs to regroup the team quickly.
