<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He'll be back (this season)," Suns coach Mike D'Antoni guaranteed, rebuking an anonymous source that recently handicapped Stoudemire's return as "50-50." Before you get too excited, understand the dunks aren't the same vintage. They are not as loud. They're not as fierce. And to be honest, Stoudemire's legs look very stiff, as if it takes supreme effort for each takeoff. But it's a welcome start. "He still on stilts a little bit," D'Antoni said. Enough so that Stoudemire is laboring by the end of a recent practice, hands planted firmly on his knees. Enough so that Boris Diaw actually stops him on four of five possessions in a one-on-one drill. Memo to Boris: Enjoy it now, before he's dunking on your head. "Structurally, his knee is fine, and I think it's all in his head now," another member of the Suns hierarchy said. "It's just a matter of when he wants to let it rip." Once again, Stoudemire is encouraged to take his sweet time. Watching him during limited workouts can sometimes be hard enough on the stomach, where the irrational fear of a snap, crackle, pop can temper the excitement. And yet Stoudemire doesn't look worried at all. He is shooting three-point shots from the corner with newfound accuracy. He is taking alley-oops from Steve Nash, and rims everywhere best beware. Stoudemire is throwing down. And it's a shame they're not selling tickets to practice, because it's the most comforting sight in Arizona. </div> Source

So was I. I hope it's not true that Amare's doubting himself mentally. That's probably the biggest hurdle he'll have to get over. In game, he'll shut up all the doubters with the first time he stuffs a dunk in someone's face.
Phoenix is a great team. Watch out for Amare... Phoenix is going to surprise alot of teams when Amare comes back in the mix. Him and marion with steve nash is an unstopable trio. I hope they will take down spurs and take on Pistons in the Finals.
