<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jason Kidd had his fifth triple-double of the season, but his biggest contribution might have come during a fourth quarter timeout. Kidd suggested to Nets coach Lawrence Frank that he put 6-foot-7 Richard Jefferson on Toronto center Chris Bosh, who had been practically unstoppable since the beginning of the third quarter.

Bosh scored just two points in the first half but had 14 in the third quarter and was proving too quick for the likes of Jason Collins, Nenad Krstic and Clifford Robinson. Jefferson was able to shut down Bosh's outside game.

"At that point we had tried everything except going small," Kidd said. "So I suggested something different</div>

Wow Kidd can be a player and coach at the same time.

    It was a great move....

I'm very frustrated with Lawerence's inability to make adjustments and his bench rotation is horrible. Antoine needs to get more minutes. He can score out there. The big 3 played perhaps the best game they have together last night and they needed OT to win against the Raptors.. I like Lawerence, but I don't know if he's cutting it as a head coach.

they have no bench, lol. antoine is good but VC, Kidd, and RJ could play the whole game. He will only come in when one gets a breather. There rotation is nice considering they have no bench.

J-Kidd is going to be a future coach for sure.

The fact that Kidd can be coach should not be a surprise. Have none of you never came across comments by both Frank and Byron Scott referring to Kidd as the second coach?

Thats a shame. Jason Kidd outcoached Sam Mitchell. [IMG]

Its not like it couldn't have been countered though, which makes it that much more frustrating. If the Raps had a smart coach, Bosh would have been set up in the post and would have abused RJ.

Frank isn't experimental enough with the lineup. i'd like to see how a starting five of kidd, vaughn/wright/murray, carter, jefferson, and krstic/collins/robinson would do. offensively, we're good enough to play small ball, but then we'd be lacking in the rebounding department.

Frank also needs to get the team to communicate on defense. on those certain days they do hustle on the defensive end, they play flawless basketball, run the break, and get easy baskets.

Well, I obviously do not endorse the idea of firing Lawerence right now... there is not enough time to learn a new system, but I think he's walking the wire because this team is underachieving thus far. The team has extra roster spots now and I hope they sign some bigs...Jabari Smith anyone? Rodney Buford? They were good for us last year.

I think he plays in a Russian League with Travis Best.

we lost those players due to the offseason looking for a PF. we weren't able to snatch Swift or SAR. i think Thorn waited too long, as we could have signed some bigs in the off season that could rebound and play defense. instead, mcinnis is injured, jackson is gone, and Padgett and Murray can only play the three.
