The commisioner of the league offered it to me, and I accepted it. And he's not an idiot, it will benefit both of us.

Well the person who traded Kobe to you made a huge mistake in my opinion.

Kobe wasn't helping him anymore.. It's a roto league so once you get a lot of stats you have to make a move. Do you know the fantasy worth of a Center who can get assists, make free throws, and Brevin Knight, who gets 10+ assists a night and leads the league in steals?

He still could have gotten more.

Not from me he couldn't, and you really aren't aware of the league's situation

True. If he's blowing out in points, and some extra rebounds and assists are needed, that was a good trade for him, no doubt. Roto leagues are tricky that way.

I think Roto leagues are better than H2H leagues. I'm playing on one of each though.

I would've offered him more though, maybe Pau Gasol and Boris Diaw for Kobe, but hell I couldn't resist the offer he made.

Pau and Diaw would be a bad move on your part. Kobe's awesome, but not THAT awesome. If I had Kobe and that trade came my way, I would have approved it before I even knew what I did, pretty much no matter what my standing was. Granted, so many things factor into leagues and how they're set up, but what would Kobe give you that those two don't besides 3s and maybe FT%?

Kobe is da man. But he really hurts you on FG percentages in ROTO. Roto is not about stars. Its about balance. So if it helped you, more power to you.

It definitely helped, it's pretty much the last piece to what I need to get past this guy. My percentage is really good (2nd) and is going to go up now that I got rid of Knight. I can handle Kobe's flaws (TOs and FG%), because I am 2nd in both of those categories and can't go up anymore, but am far ahead of the 2nd guy.

Threes, points, steals are what I need. Kobe is great in two of those. That's why I traded Lebron for Allen and West. [IMG]
