This guy is gonna be awesome and I'm glad to have him. He is going to be sorta like Eddie House was for us off the bench and I think he will even be the deciding factor in some games liek last night.
Here's the thing with the Posey , Anderson, and Walker "battle for the starting spot" if you call it that. Sure Posey may start the game but if you look at the box score Posey isn't even getting 20 minutesa game. We ended the game with Derek out there and that may be the reason we won. When it comes down to it, it really matters who is out there to finish the game off. I like the rotation we have at the 2/3/4 spots right now because our guys are so versatile. Walker has definately become more effective as the season has gone on, Udonis is playing his best basketball all year averaging a double double the last 5 games or so, Posey is still contributing while getting some criticism for his performance on the offensive side but his defense is still an asset for us. Then you have Shandon Anderson who has all of a sudden come alive since the All Star break and is playing solid minutes shutting down his man. Then you have Derek Anderson who is the new aquisition already making an impact, he is giving us solid minutes and will start until Wade returns from that wrist injury, Derek is a real weapon on the offensive side of the ball just look at last night although he didn't shoot well he hit a big shot with the shot clock winding down that gave us some momentum. I think these roster changes have been positive and now are really starting to pay off and I think we haven't seen them at their best yet.
