Already given up 9 today. Hell, Chris Kaman has twice as many offensive boards as our entire team. So very frustrating. If we could be better on the defensive glass we'd be well up in this game.
And in the second half we cut down their second chances and offensive boards and what happens? We turn a deficit into an absolute spanking. Crashing the boards equals W's and for us, is the difference between being a good ordinary team and going deep into the playoffs.
JW, does Memphis play alot of man to man? That was my thought and why they were not boxing out well since the screener could spin to the basket and knew where his teammate was probably going to miss. Memphis is one of the best at stopping the passing lanes, but to do so leaves the defenders equidistant from the goal with the offensive players who have an equal shot at the rebound. The zone seems to limit offensive rebounds better.
