Just a couple of points. A) I like the change but the current setup reminds me of the Warriors too much, needs more blue, less yellow. Would have though Pau would be the ideal person for the banner atop the forum. Thanks for making the effort for us though.

Thanks for making the effort for us though.</div> I really like it the way it is. If we switched the yellow to blue, then it would just look like one solid block. You've got to have two different colors or else it just looks bad. Maybe we could do a lighter shade of blue, but other than that, we don't really have many options. I personally liked the old Vancouver colors 100 times better than the current ones, and even the original Memphis ones weren't too bad. How'd we go from teal and brown to teal and red to blue and yellow? Makes little sense... I don't think that not having Pau on the banner hurts anything. Battier was more of the face of the team when we were in the process of making the banners, especially with the Gasol trade rumors. Besides, now that Gasol's an All-Star, everyone knows how important he is to the team, but having Battier up there tells the visitors that we've got more talent on our roster than just Gasol. Afterall, there have been many times where I could make the argument that Battier's the best player on the team.
I just think the yellow is a little too prominent given the quite small amount of yellow in our jerseys and logo. Yellow is our secondary colour, but the primary colour of the board. As for the second issue. Like him or not, Pau is our best player, is our franchise player and is the entire face of Memphis. Much respect to Shane as he's the heart of the team, but i thought it a little odd that Pau, the face of our team, missed out. Ah well, like i said, no big deal, just expressing my view.

The idea behind the players for each theme, was to use 2nd tier players as much as possible. I know some forums still have the star players, but the previous banners didn't feature most of them. The last Grizzlie banner had Gasol on it, so we decided to use Battier instead for this new one. I'll have Mel see what he can do about swapping the yellow and blue.
