Well done Mitch. This was pretty much a done deal anyway. Its a shame we waived Slava, I thought he had an offensive presence. There was no point in keeping him when he was lucky to play 2 minutes a night. At 6-6, Jackson will give Kobe a rest and perhaps play at the point.

he was a decent pickup. he can be a nice player for us off the bench, and give us some experience. all i know is that he's an upgrade on sasha, green, and of course, mckie
Yeah honestly I saw this and was shocked. This makes me really happy, even if this guy just comes in and does nothing I'm comfortable with the ball in his hands, being a veteran guy. He understands he's in here to play a role, and thats basically move the ball around and hit the occasional timely 3.
I was completely shocked when I heard this. I just saw it on espn a little while ago. I welcome Mr. Jackson with open arms. When Jimmy gets minutes he is effective. I really hope he gets his minutes and see where it goes from there. He plays better with more minutes. He plays good D and O, plus he is mentally tough. He should pick up the offense rather quick and give Kobe the rest he needs.
Man, I'm so happy, JJ is nice. Have you guys seen him on NBA Live 06 for XBOX 360? Dude is sooooo buff in that game, lol.
Didn't play (well, hasn't yet and there's only junktime left). I guess we'll have to wait to see him.
