No, honestly, it's amazing to me because the guy is so darn smart when it comes to the politics of a democratic nation, but so awfully incapable of assesing the chance of failure on a full-court baseball pass. He's a master of showing on a fundraiser, but incompetent at showing on a pick and roll. I'd seriously elect Adonal Foyle for president but I'd wouldn't elect him as a teammate in a 5-on-5 local pick-up game
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AlleyOop:</div><div class="quote_post">Why? Because he'd have to retire from basketball first. Foyle for Governor!</div> Sounds like a good reason .
If we get a decent center, it'll be worlds of difference. Just like when we got Baron Davis on this club. This club does not have too many ways to attack or pace themselves on defense. If you look at the best teams in the league, they can play a fast or slow tempo because they control both ends of the floor both inside and out. Someday, I hope we spend money on the right stars or role players that can do this.
That some day will have to be after the 5 years and ~ $40 million dollars that Foyle has yet to be paid for. edit: I may be exaggeratng those numbers, but nonetheless he's on board till he retires -- no one will accept a trade for him.
