With all the hoopla about Bosh being an allstar, CV having a great year, clearing cap space, resigning or trading james, and the signing of Colangelo, I think we as raptor fans as a whole have not given a player his due. Mo Pete has been the most under-rated Raptor this year. He is having a career year, puttin up career high in points, shooting great behind the arc, and providing stiffling defense (he has become the greatest flopper in raptor history). He has destroyed the demons of last year, that made him valuable at home, and a junk player on the road. He is a consistent member, always producing, never mailing it in. Thank god that we matched his offer sheet (2 years ago?). Was that Babcock or Grunwald? My memory stinks! I think its disgusting that in all the posts about what the raptors should do next year, nobody has Mo as their starting 2 guard! FOR SHAME!

Anyway, Mo has been great this season, and he's finally been consistent. He is always an underrated defender that will never get his due.
I Agree that MO pete does not suck. BUT, i think that it's normal that he's not getting the spotlight yet. He just started putting up career high numbers, this year. Who knows if he will be back to his inconsistent times again. Only time can answer the question and only time can tell us if he can keep up with his progress.
It's funny about that road-home thing that he had in the past ... he's been so consistant this year i completely forgot about that ...
Yah we don't give Babcock enough credit for matching the offer sheet for MoPete. He could've easily let him walk but instead decided to re-sign him even though the contract was considered too much given MoPete's performance up until that time. But as we can see now, his contract could actually be considered a bargain. Matching the offersheet was a very underrated move by Babcock imo. btw, we also have to give Mo credit for working his ass off.... in the past six games he's been averaging about 47 minutes per game.... that's crazy, especially considering he's being assigned to guard the toughest perimeter players during those minutes
Part of its got to do with how he's been utilized. Could anybody really fault him with being inconsistent in Kevin O'Neill's offensive system? I got to give some credit to Mitchell for allowing Mo to create for himself as well.
i agree, i like mopete as well i started to like him and take more notice after he hit that layup blindfolded by his headband
I remember that, mo pete with his acrobatic flukes Don't get me wrong, hes a good player but its really fluke
