<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Iverson was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Feb. 27 through Sunday. He averaged 37.3 points, 9.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds and shot 55.6 percent in four games for the Sixers as they went 2-2.

The 6-foot Iverson, who was named player of the week for the third time this season, had 40 points and 10 assists in a win over Houston on Wednesday, then had 47 points and 12 assists in a win over Washington on Friday, becoming the first NBA player to get 40 points and 10 assists in consecutive games since Michael Adams did so in January 1991.

The Sixers are seventh in the Eastern Conference after Sunday's loss and a Wizards victory.
