OMFG, RAPTORS LOST BY ONE. IM SO PISSED THAT WE COULDNT EVEN GAURD THAT PLAY. 98-97, O.M.G A lil picture won't hurt at all.
lol good game overall i went nuts when mo hit that 3..i thought it was over and all the mike james haters--relax urselfs Lebron James was going for a lay-up and we had to double team him it wasnt Mike James's fault however--he did get tripped when he tried to run back to defend Damon Jones, and this should have been a call! best game this whole season
Heart breaking loss... Daman Jones with the killer 3.. didn't hit any all night i don't think... but the last one just killed.. Edit - Talk about Rafer Alston "showing off" and look at what Mike James did today. However u guys can say Rafer does it on a consistant basis..
ya who was that new commentator? i joined in at halftime and surprised i didn't hear chuck....hes not bad...is he going to be a permenant replacement or something ?
Just got back from the game ... here's what I noticed -Mo Pete got a raw deal from the refs, it was pretty ridiculous some of the stuff they were calling. Despite that however he played a great game. -Matt Bonner couldn't manage to rotate on defense if he was playing high school ball... -Some of the stuff mike james threw up from 3 was pathetic ... not to take away from some of the great things he did going to the basket but the crossovers until like 1 second on the shot clock and hoisting up a 3 is pure crap .... Cut that out -Every time the raptors take a timeout half of it is spent with Mitchell discussing with his assistants, once that is done they talk to the players ... not a bad thing necessarily, but I just found it interesting because most coaches don't take that long to converse or just go straight to their players... And.... -Why are we double teaming someone driving to the basket when it's a 2-point game? We should at least not give up the 3-ball.... I don't understand why we didn't go man-to-man given the game situation ... we completely played ourselves into that
I didn't get to watch the game but from the replays, Bosh was there to cut LeBron off, along with MoPete being with him too. There was no need for James to come down and leave someone wide open. It's not as if James could have stopped him anyways.
In a post-game interview, Mike James explained that the plan was to stay man-to-man but went to double Lebron anyways, and then he tripped while trying to run back to cover Jones.... It's all good though b/c he took full responsibility for messing up and apologized to his teammates after the game. I've been critical of James recently but it's good to see someone with an attitude like that...
The commentator was Sherman Hamilton, the TV analyst from Raptors TV, he was filling in for Chuck cuz Chuck was sick or had a sore throat, who could barely speak. It's good for James to speak up and say it was his fault..
i was about to criticize toronto's last play meltdown until i saw the jessica alba picture i will remain quiet ^_____________^
