He hurt his fingers I think, he's going to be out for about a week. What I do know for sure is the Lakers just beat San Antonio in San Antonio by 10!

Yeah not sure. I can only assume he was sick or hurt. I don't think its that serious or we might have heard about it by now.

But anyways.... Great win by the Lakers... if its one thing this team can do well its rebound the ball. When they put in the effort they are a very good rebounding team. Thats what won this game for them. Well that plus balanced play again from the starters.

Congratulations to the Lakers for the biggest win of the year!!! Everyone came out to play today and like I said they were going to beat them by 10. Luke Walton made a pretty incredible layup today. I like the way he came out to play because 13 points and 10 rebounds was huge for the lakers off the bench. Odom played a consistent game with 13 points, 9 assist and 8 rebounds shooting 6-8. He had a really solid game defensively as well. Smush did an awesome job guarding Tony Parker. Smush Parker is really developing into a better player now. Kwame Brown also played extremely well defensively. Even though Kobe wasn't on today he still provided the points he normally does. I thought the Lakers woulda blown the spurs out if Kobe shot the ball better.

Kobe startd very slowly shooting 1-7 in the first quarter. But he hit five shots in a row at one point I think in the second quarter and [rpbably shot 50% since then. Those 10 points he poured in in the second quarter was really the cusion the Lakers needed. They just traded baskets with san Antonio after that.

^ I agree, if Kobe had made 5 more shot's it would've easily been a 18-20 point win. His teammates really stepped up tonight.

As for George- he sprained his left wrist.

AND ONE MORE THING! LA has just taken sole posession of the 7th spot in the west, as the Hornet's lost by 2 in Indiana!

Shape, we did it! (by we I mean Lakers)! Picked up 2 grand, cashed that bad boy out, and making sure I don't make any bets for a while.

Did you end up betting? I hope so, I'm glad I didn't take them +8, I just had a gut feeling we were gonna take this one, just like when we won at home against Miami, picked up 1200 that night too =)

    Great game Lakers!!!

Luke Walton had 10 rebounds against the Spurs?!?! WOW. Wait,so this was the Spurs 5th game in 6 nights? Is that correct? So that means the Spurs actually played a back to back to back at some point?!?! Wow. Never heard of a back to back to back. Anyhow, im asuming Odom continued his stellar play. Lakers coming up with HUGE wins against the best teams in the league, its really unthinkable.
I also have a question, are lakers fans happy or unhappy that the Kings beat the grizzlies?

    *****!

I hope your being sarcastic because of course were unhappy about it- as of right now it doesn't matter because the Lakers just grabbed the 7th seed, but since it's such a close playoff race that still sucks...

hahaha well i think L.A. could be included in the teams that beat both Det and S.A. i think there are 6 of them!
Kobe's the best he was off on his shot so he took it hard to the basket
good all around play for the lakers

^Who would think Luke Walton would have 10 rebounds and Duncan would go for 12 and 4? I mean come on. Some of these laker games are just WEIRD.

Its probally weird because of the lakers inconsistency to play as a team and the lack of effort they bring to each game. They usually do really well against good teams and bad against bad teams.
