There have been a few trade rumor round the net that the Packers are interested in signing or trading for a potential fill in starting back. Names that have been mentioned are, Ricky Williams(I seriously doubt this one), Eddie George(I thouhgt he filed for retirement?),Troy Hambrick, Ron Dayne(I don't know what to say about this one!), and the biggest posibility William Green(he doesn't seem wanted or needed in Clevland but just how good is he really?). Of course these are just collected rumors but its kind of fun to specualte if the Pack would give up a mid round pick for one of these guys or actually sign one? As of now they seem content with ReShard Lee and Tony Fisher but who knows who they may bring in next.
There is always maurice clarett. lol. You guys could look at Nick Goings. He is sitting under Foster and Davis in carolina and he ran for 900 yards last year in like 9 or 10 games
That is someone id look at myself but would the Panthers part with him for cheap? I don't think they'd want anything less than a 3rd rounder for him.
Just read the paper and it said the Packers will work with what they got. Tony Fisher, Ahman Green, and Rashard Lee. If anything I could see them promoting Walt Williams. I believe he is on the practice squad.
Walt played very well last year before he was injured, however he is not on the PS this year, infact I believe he may be currently out of football.
I think they are going to see how Resheed Lee looks before singing a back. He could be one of those great undiscovered backs?
