    The hated Vince Carter started the streak Feb. 26, 1999. Twenty-one times during the streak, the Raptors canned just one triple, including earlier this season on Nov. 7 when Morris Peterson kept the string alive with 1:11 left against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

    Forty players have contributed to the streak, with Peterson leading the way with 644 long-range hits.

    NUMBERS GAME

    The Raptors have been feasting on lightweights, but getting knocked out by heavyweights this season.

    The Raptors' improved record after their 1-15 start has, for the most part, been generated by good play against some of the NBA's weaker sisters.

    Entering play Wednesday night, the Raptors had a 1-12 record against the league's top eight teams, putting them ahead of only the Charlotte Bobcats (0-12) and Boston Celtics (1-13).

    The Raptors also aren't very good against the league's next best eight teams, sitting at 4-16. Conversely, they are 11-3 against the league's six worst teams. </div>

    Mike James's trey just tied us up with Miami.

    Now we have to wait untill Sunday against the Pacers to break the record. Ironically, the last game we failed to know down a three pointer was back in 1999 against none other than Indy.

    It seems like such an easy record to break. I can't imagine the Raps playing a whole game without hitting a 3.

    The Raptors will break it I can't imagine them not hitting 1 three pointer in a game.
