It's funny because we lose to 2 horrible teams and we beat a top team in the league. Jason Richardon holy ****, this guy has the ability to carry a team alone with Baron banged up and no one else doing anything J-Rich really stepped up. jason voorhees is right when he says that Jason Richardson is the Warriors best player and not Baron Davis I know that Baron is not 100% yet but J-Rich in 2 years will become a top 3 SG with Kobe and Vince getting older and Dwayne Wade will be the best SG and then probably it will be J-Rich. I hope the Warriors don't trade him or anything I want this guy to stay with the Warriors.
Jason Richardson has been awesome. 1.) Every year, he's isolated the weakest area of his game, and improved it in the off-season. Dribbling. Rebounding. Jump-Shooting. Showing up on back-to-back games. Three-Point Shooting. 2.)He's played through injury and bounced back quickly when he couldn't play. 3.)He hasn't complained; instead, he's lead by example. As a fan, I am grateful for what he has done for us. As a critic, I'd have to say 2 things: 1)He needs to shoot well over 70% from the line before we can talk "top SG." 2.)Until he proves he can lock-down opposing guards -- at least once in a while -- and shows that he can be a terrific defender on the perimiter, he won't be a top SG in my book. In the two games I remember this year against the Nets, JRich was outplayed by Stephen Jackson. Stephen Jackson.... On both ends of the court. His physical style of D disrupted JRich, and JRich didn't guard him like he should have. Jackson scored a-plenty. That's the type of match-up JRich needs to own before he can ever be in the discussion of top SG.
