Kings have scratched their way back to .500 with tonights win against Memphis.

Couple nuggets of info for you:
Artest led all scorers with 30
Thomas picked up another double-double with 14pts and 10 rbs
Tonight marked only the 10th game this year that Memphis has given up more than 100 points. Sacramento has now accounted for two of those 10 games.

So have the kings gone something like 8 of there last 10?! NICE. The Kings have officially shed the title of being a weak rebounding team thanks to the 20 offensive boards they had against the Grizzlies tonight, as well as their rebounding prowess lately. Half a game out behind N.O. for the 8 spot[IMG]

actually 7-3 in the last 10 and 11-4 over the last 15 with a current 11 game home win streak.

and yes, they are muuuuuuuuuch improved on in the rebounding department these days as well as defensively.

Nice win for the Kings, I noticed that only TWO players played from the bench. Coach aldaman is gonna need to make a better rotation than that, if they want to survive in the playoffs.

^Actually, NO. Most good teams dont give consistent minutes to more than 8 players during the playoffs. Im not too worried about how the Kings do in the playoffs, not expecting a whole lot. Afterall, the only bottom seed that has any hope is the team that draws denver in the first round.....or the Lakers if they play Dallas[IMG]

Dallas wouldn't be too much of a problem for LA if they got them in the 1st round. LA is leading the Dallas series 2-1..

how long have you been following the NBA?
If you have, you will know that if L.A. upsets Dallas in the first round it will be one of the alltime upsets in the history of the league playoffs. You make it sound like 8 seeds beat 1 seeds on a regular basis. I agree that L.A. could make it a series because of Kobe's unstoppable-ness, but ultimately Dallas will beat them because if you've watched both teams play, it's obvious which one is a "team" and which one is still finding an identity, in those situations over 7 games they would need 2 Kobe's to beat the Mavs.

While everyone here can agree that Bryant is probably one of the greatest all around one on one players, you can not win a series with one guy. Unless the Mavs hit the breaks on their season for some reason, I dont see them loosing in the first round.

and now back to the Kings....

Once Garcia is back, Adelman will have his 8 man rotation set. You might see a surpise visit from Williamson every now and then, but he wont see any substantial minutes in the post season (which is a shame... Id like to see him getting about 7 to 10 minutes a game at the 3 and or 4)

Ron Ron is a perfect fit.

I find it funny how so many MVP candidates (nash, kobe, dirk) only play 1 side of the ball offesne.

But Artest plays both sides defense and offense, easily overlooked as a player, his impact on the king has been legendary.
