<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SALT LAKE CITY -- Josh Howard went through practice without a hitch Friday and could be back in the lineup tonight when the Mavericks face Utah at the Delta Center. "I'm coming along," Howard said. "It's a still a day-to-day process. Hopefully, I'll be back as soon as possible." The small forward has missed the previous three games because of a strained left hamstring, an injury coach Avery Johnson treats with caution. "Josh looked better [Friday] than he has the past four or five days, but I still don't know what that means for [tonight]," Johnson said. Howard has missed 13 games this season, the other 10 due to an ankle he has sprained on two occasions. He's averaging 15.8 points and 6.5 rebounds. If Howard isn't ready tonight, Johnson could elect to start Adrian Griffin at small forward, and Jason Terry and Devin Harris in the backcourt. Harris shines In just his third start of the season, Devin Harris scored 12 points and handed out a team-high seven assists in Thursday's 109-92 victory at Portland. "Having Devin in the lineup was the key to us winning," Avery Johnson said. Harris had missed four consecutive games because of a strained left quadriceps before returning Tuesday at home against the Trail Blazers. Harris said starting wasn't a big adjustment. "You warm-up a little bit different when you start the game, rather than coming off the bench," he said. "It's something that I'm used to. I've started before. It's not a big thing."</div> Source
Listening to the game. Missed the beginning. Sounds like Josh's hamstring must still be a little tight because I haven't heard his name. Thank goodness the Mavs are deep.
Uh oh. Devin Harris' quad injury just put him out of the game at the end of the 1st quarter. Sounds like Armstrong will get alot of minutes.
