<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At a point when many NBA players are dragging toward the finish of a taxing NBA season, Luol Deng is playing as though he's just getting started. Deng scored 21 points to go with seven rebounds Saturday night in the Bulls' 95-90 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena. This followed his 17 points and 18 rebounds in a loss to the Clippers on Friday night. "I feel great," Deng said. Nobody could have faulted the Bulls if they had come out flat. They were playing their seventh game in 10 days. Atlanta had been off since it defeated Golden State on Tuesday night behind Joe Johnson's 42 points. "I'm just playing with a lot of energy," Deng said. "It's the other end, defense and rebounding, that gets me going offensively." Relatively speaking, Johnson had a quiet night with 22 points, and the Hawks' Al Harrington led all scorers with 32. Behind Deng, the Bulls were lively, though far from perfect, and got off to a seven-point lead after one quarter and stayed in charge. Even Tyson Chandler, who fouled out late in the game, displayed some powerful moves to the basket in scoring 12 points to go with his 12 rebounds. "Last night you could tell we weren't all there," Bulls coach Scott Skiles said of the loss to the Clippers. "Tonight you could tell right from the beginning that we were."</div><div align="center"> Source</div>
Deng has been huge for us lately, probably the most consistent of all the players. And early in the season there was talk of trading him...glad we didnt.
Deng's a beast. Can't wait to see him play next season. Would you guys compare him to Shawn Marion in the future? That would be amazing!
Eric Neel said it best last year in one of his columns on ESPN.com: 'Luol Deng is my Daddy!' seriously, i like this guy more and more. And i think the Bulls do too. The more i think about it, the more i think that if at one point the Bulls will have to choose between resigning Luol and Gordon, they will resign Luol and let Ben leave...
