Yeh, we lost! Judging by the box score, this has to be Bryants worst game of the season, even worse than when we met the 76'ers earlier in the season.
I just realised I went through 2 pages worth of emotions just by reading the box score on this game. I'm a spam whore.
See this is why you guys should have done an odom + bynum for artest. 120 points by Seattle, Ray Allan, Wilcox and Lewis have good games. Put artest on the court than Seattle wouldn't have those easy passing lanes, Ray Allan would be shooting like bryant did that game, Rashard would be exausted.
beat the spurs @ their home then lose @ home to the sonics. = summary of the Laker's season this year. Oh well, what can you do, atleast New Orleans lost, hopefully Dallas can hold off Sac Town. By the way, I don't buy the whole "kobe's tired and that's why he's shooting bad" I'm tired of the BS excuses for his bad shooting days, that's two in a row now, I think he needs to fix something in his game. my $0.02
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">i didnt watch but, man they allowed 120 to the sonics?</div> yeah, i didnt see it either. can someone tell me how the defense was playing? i mean, 120 in only four quarters is unacceptable!
pitiful loss. I hate losing these kinda games. Kobe had a horrendous shooting day again. They allowed way too many layups and that can't happen when the other team can shoot as well. I thought everyone was off today except for milm.
Look on the bright side. 5 lakers scored in double digits. If kobe was shooting good, this game would have been won. Thats how I feel
i think mihm got injured during the game that explains the lack of D... i think the lakers just didnt take the game seriously! haha OMG! Sacramento is in 8th place now!

Everybody goes through these slumps, every season Kobe has around 4-5 games where nothing goes right for him. I'm aware of three of these poor games by Kobe this season. When he's shooting badly, he should drive to the lane more and pick up the ones, he's more than capable of drawing the fouls.

He really shouldn't be settling for that jump shot, even if he does have all the range in the world. I get so pissed whenever i see him launching 28-footers when he can easily blow by anyone and take it strong to the basket.
Kobe Bryant played a stupid game against the Sonics. He spent the entire game arguing with the officials about not getting calls. He needs to let PJax worry about the officials, while Kobe worries about the game. I didn't have a good feeling for this game to begin with, so I'm not surprised by the outcome. The Lakers always seem to have a let down game after big wins and play to the level of their competition. The Lakers defense didn't show up, especially in transition. The Sonics were shooting 60% for the majority of the game. Every time Kobe or Smush attacked the basket, 3 Sonics would sprint down the court and score right back. Ray Allen's crazy and one shot, sealed the game for Seattle. The worst part about the loss is Chris Mihm twisting his ankle. I think he'll miss at least a week. Bobcats here you go ...
I was actually VERY surprised Kobe didn't get a tech for kicking that ball. to him losing his composure.

In the majority of the other games, he's been occupied with assists, rebounds and steals. When he's getting doube and triple teamed yet nobody shoots the ball when he passes out, what do you expect? He's going to have nights like that. Alot of those games were blowouts and he's tried ridiculous shots in the last 2 minutes to level the game up somehow. He's shooting poorly, but not as bad as he's made out to be. When you take as many shots as he does, your fg% is going to go down drastically. Chris Mihm seemed like a monster from the box score, trust our luck for our second most consistant player to go out like that.
