AI hurt his ankle, and it looks really serious. He is not going to be back, and the x-ray results will be avaliable after the game.
I never thought I'd root for the 76'ers but we need you to beat the Grizz. Iversons out so it's up to C-Webb and Iggy to pick up the pieces. Your down by 2, 87-85 Grizz.
Up by one, Sixers staying strong after Iverson has to leave. After trailing we come back and are up by two points right now after an Iguodala layup. One minute to go, lets hope to god we don't screw up in the clutch.
91-89 76'ers with 27 seconds left. C-Webb hit a clutch shot to put you guys ahead again. Edit 1: 92-91 76'ers with 15 seconds remaining. Philly timeout. Edit 2: 93-91 after a Korver FT. Memphis 20 second timeout. Edit 3: W0000000T??? C-Webb blocks Pau Gasols attempted jumper, 76'ers win! C-Webb showed experiance there in the clutch. That was a great win without AI to move you back to .500. They showed some toughness in the end there.
WIN!!! Finally, after a couple frustrating collapses, we come back from behind in a last seconds win. Oh, and last seconds Webber wins a jumpball against Gasol and ensures the victory.
Psh. It's about time. Like I said, I don't care what they do in the season unless they go on a MAJOR tear and are on a 10+ game winning streak, if not, oh well. But good win though. Get better AI.
Hopefully AI gets better soon, but I'd rather him be healthy towards the end of the season (final 10-13 games) and come playoff time rather than messing that ankle up even more... but AI has an amazing threshold for pain, so you never know when the guy will come back. CWebb finally came through in the clutch... it had to happen sooner or later. Big game with a near triple double... the sad part is that we could be 34-28 if we hadn't collapsed in those three games. What's worse than that? We could be 40-22 if we didn't collapse in some of the other games throughout the year.
