Over the last two games, I've noticed a huge problem with the Celtics offense: for some unknown reason they're running down the shot clock.

Part of it has been the lack of Delonte West, which makes teams much more likely to press a Celtics team that has shown the ability to score on anybody. But I also think that Doc has them overpassing. The doubles have come quick on Pierce, and the other players have been less than willing to take shots.

-Al is especially guilty of this. And Raef also, when he misses a couple shots.

-Part of this might be that both Denver and Milwaukee will break on you. Doc might be trying to slow things down to keep things from getting out of hand.

-No one seems to be willing to get post position. Part of it has been the modified zone that Doc can't figure out, but I'm glad to see Perk back. He likes deep post position, and he'll encourage Al.

-Teams are generally keying on the fours (Gomes and Al) and doubling Pierce. Which means that Wally has to heat up and start breaking zones.
