<div class="quote_poster">Quoting j0se:</div><div class="quote_post">I was a Marbury hater, but I grew up out of that immature ****...real talk, Marbury doesn't HURT this team, he isn't a cancer. You have to be mad closed minded to think he's a cancer.

Isiah Thomas has assembled this mess.

Why is everyone getting so whiney about Marbury? He just said he wants to play like an All Star again and help this team out.</div>

Larry Brown said he doesn't have a problem with Marbury getting his 20/8. The main gripe is on the defensive end of the court. He wants Marbury to put more effort on defense.

Listen, you guys continue to fail to comprenhend what we're saying....

10 Coachs were wrong about Marbury....about what? They got fired cause of Marbury? Are you really that close minded to believe that? Especially when Marbury has been of the most productive PG's in the NBA over the last 10 years and has taken 3 teams to the playoffs?

We never said Marbury is the best point guard in the NBA either, and most plays in the NBA end up being situational one on one plays. I didn't say all teams rely on one on one situations, there are teams who share the ball greatly and don't force things...like Phoneix, San Antonio, and Detriot.

Here is what we believe, as Knick fans.

Marbury is far from a cancer, he doesn't do anything to hurt this team. I'm a hardcore Isiah hater, and I hate all his moves, but I'm mature enough to realize the talented invidivuals we have.

Its just that, Marbury isn't the answer to our problems. No one on this roster is the answer, and thats what makes Isiah such a terrible GM, he doesn't address our weaknesses, he just overloads our team with players formers teams don't want anymore. He's made the Knicks franchise into the garbage disposal of the NBA.

This soap opera is getting ridiculous. I wonder what's next.

It hurts the team in more ways than one. Q and Crawford have already taken sides, which segregates the team and with the way Marbury is handling this more and more players are going to choose. You'll have guys like Taylor and James agreeing with Marbury because like Marbury they are players who don't/can't adapt to Brown's system. It could build up to the point where the team has to be completely rebuilt again.
