    Here's a match-up: #8 Arizona v. #9 Wisconsin.

I really think Wisconsin wins this with ease. As long as they play anything like what they do at home, Arizona has been consistently embarrassed by good teams this season.

That will set up Wisconsin v. Villanova. That should be a good game. Would be a huge win for the Big Ten, I don't know who on Nova can guard Mr. Tucker.

The matchup that I'm probably looking most forward to(assuming they advance) is #3 North Carolina vs. #6 Michigan State. It's one of the hottest teams in the NCAA against one of the most talented.

^^^ I was just going to say that, I have Mich St. winning that game because i think they have more experience and they still have a well-rounded team.

Guys, I don't think we should be playing Zona, and they definitely shouldn't be a higher seed than us, but the way Kam Taylor has been playing right now, I don't have much confidence in the Badgers. Tucker could score 30 points and we'd still lose by 10 because Kam would shoot 2/15 with 7 turnovers. [IMG]

Wow, here's some east coast biased right here, consistently embarrassed? Just because we lost to UCLA 3x this year then lost it against UW doesn't mean we suck. Our guards are quick, physical, and lead by Mr. Rodgers himself. Only reason we've been inconsistent is the fact that we haven't been able to play with our whole team together for more than 2-3 games tops. Lute Olson will get them together on this tournament experience team. I'm not sure, but I think we average like 10 steals a game, or at least we did before we played UCLA, and I hear your PG is having trouble finding himself, trust me Chris Rodgers will be all over that [IMG]

Edit: Looked up steals ppg for Zona they average 10.9 steals per game

I cannot believe the seed George Washington received #8 !!?!! At worst they should have been a #3 or #4 seed. Prior to losing Pops Mensa Bosa they won 18 straight games.

I also cannot believe Air Force made the tournament.

Every year there is a 5 v. 12 upset, I'm going with Montana beating Nevada in round 1. I think Strait can neutralize Fazekas down low and give him problems on offense.

J_Ray, someone liking Wisconsin is hardly East Coast bias; the East Coast people HATE Wisconsin, they'd like nothing more than to leave us and our plodding swing offense and rugged D out of the tourney alltogether. Eastern bias is Big East/ACC and a bit of the SEC, not the Big 10, dude. [IMG]

Nevada was seeded WAY too high, IMO. I, too, think Montana is going to pull the upset.

But the game I really want to see besides the UAB-UK game is Marquette vs. Alabama. Steele vs James should be a great matchup at guard...and i'm anxious to see who Alabama puts on Steve Novak...

Well, I'm in Cali so all you people are in the east to me [IMG] I had to stick up for my Cats, if Taylor is turning it over like you say, he's got to get together before Rodgers shows up in Philly. Also how close is Philly to Madison or Wisconsin?

Philly is pretty far from here, I don't know off hand in miles, but it's about the same as from your Shasta Co. to Oklahoma, I'd guess.

Are you sure, Oklahoma from Shasta is awfully a long way, all you east coast states are close. I guess Zona might get some crowd there due to the fact that Shakur is from there but that's about it. That's one other thing I've failed to mention, Shakur has a grudge against Nova and he wants to get them back for withdrawing their scholarship from him so they could give it to Nardi [IMG]

I don't mean it to be east coast biased, but it's true, Arizona has struck out against all good competition. They're 2-7 against the top 50. After conference play started, they lost three times to UCLA, lost to Washington, and lost to UNC by 17. Also, earlier in the season they lost to UConn, Michigan State and Houston. 2-7 is pretty bad vs. the top 50, but then look at those two wins. Kansas, first game of the year, we all know that was before Kansas came together, and Washington, back at the end of 2005, by 1, in 2OT (Washington won the next meeting).

It's funny you name all these games, UCLA was simply better than us, but 1st game we should of won. The UW game we just went cold at the end and they stoled one from us. UNC game we were far from our normal team, Hassan Adams was close to being hospitalized on that trip because he had pnuemonia and Chris Rodgers was suspended, the time we played that day too was crazy, it would have been 8 o'clock in the morning in Zona. In the Maui Invatational we were still trying to find our identity, we were getting used to the new guard oriented offense that Olson put in but still we were close in the end of both UConn and Michigan St. games. As for the Houston game, Rodgers and Adams both were suspended 10 minutes because they showed up late for breakfast that morning. I'd like to see some teams go down there to that Box stadium where they design it to be loud as hell, come out with you bench guards going against that press. That was when Oliver Lafeyette was feeling it, he's cooled down since then but he was coming of a game where he made 9 three pointers. Kansas game was like you said and you have to give us credit for that UW game, Hassan was feeling it and stepped up that game.

Dood, LSU loses early=my bracket screwed. They've got a rough road. I took them to the championship in one of my main brackets...

Mike Wilbon has them in the Nat'l Championship game, if that's any comfort [IMG] I had Cuse in the Elite 8 last year, but I still finished in the money in my office pool, so fear not [IMG]

    Welcome back CUSA Fan!

If LSU takes out Duke, it's going to cripple a lot of brackets. My concern with LSU is their health and lack of experience.

Distance from Madison to Philly is about 800 miles; from Shasta Co to Oklahoma is a bit less than 1,100 miles, so I was off a little [IMG] So we're about the same distance from Philly as you are from, say, Vail, Colorado or Cheyanne, Wyoming. Trust me, it feels like we're a lot farther than we are from Philly, that's the East Coast and we're plain old Midwest [IMG]

How far do you guys have the Gators going? I have us getting knocked out by Georgetown in the Sweet 16 right now, but if Ohio State prevails there, I think we play BC in the Elite 8.
