<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The potential has revealed itself in short, eye-opening bursts. A three-pointer. An accurate backdoor pass. A rebound and end-to-end drive. A follow-up dunk. Little by little, practice by practice and, more recently, game by game, Andray Blatche has provided evidence that the Wizards just might have something special on their hands in the 6-foot-11, 248-pound rookie. The latest indication came during Wednesday's loss at Miami when Blatche scored seven points on 3-of-5 shooting and assisted on a basket with a beautiful backdoor pass to a cutting Gilbert Arenas for a layup. The most impressive aspect of the performance was that Blatche, who had played four minutes in the previous five games, did not look the least bit intimidated going up against one of the NBA's best teams in a hostile environment. "He has big-time confidence, he has great feel for the game and he has good skill level," Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan said. Jordan said the key to Blatche's continued development will be improved conditioning and gaining strength in what is now a slender, 19-year-old frame. "A lot of that will come with time, being in a high-level routine," Jordan said. "He works individually, before the game, after the game. Before practice, after practice."</div> Blatche has the skills to be something in this league. Even more important, Blatche has the work ethic to be a star in this league. There is no doubt in my mind that this kid is going to be a promising player alongside Arenas, and hopefully Butler. He can easily turn into a Rashard Lewis clone. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...6031101297.html
6-11 with the quickness of a SG, and the vision of a PG. That's scary. He can definitely develop into a poor mans Kevin Garnett.
I prefer to think of him as a Rashard Lewis, rather than a KG. Completely different players but the comparisons arent bad, KG would be nice but I think Rashard is more realistic.
