Chicago can get within 1 1/2 games of the 8th spot with a win

    Hello ,

The race for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference steps to the forefront when the Chicago Bulls visit the Milwaukee Bucks tonight (7:00 p.m. CT | CSN/ESPN Radio 1000).

By routing Portland on Tuesday, 95-66, Chicago (29-35) pulled itself within 2 1/2 games of Milwaukee and Philadelphia, who are tied for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Knowing they need to take advantage of each opportunity down the stretch, the Bulls had no problems defending home court against the lowly Blazers.

They had 27 assists against 14 turnovers and held a 45-37 rebounding advantage in winning consecutive games for the first time in nearly a month. Chicago last won three in a row in late January.

Ben Gordon led the way with 23 points and Kirk Hinrich helped out with 14 and seven assists. Rookie Luke Schenscher had his best game in limited action as a pro with 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting.

The Bucks (31-32) are 1-1 on their current three-game homestand after Monday's 88-87 victory over Atlanta. Bobby Simmons led five players in double figures and Joe Smith scored six points in the final 86 seconds. The victory enabled Milwaukee to snap a five-game home losing streak.

After dropping the first meeting between the teams, Chicago has won the last two.

we really need to pull our finger out in the 2nd half to win this

    down by 17 is inexcusable.

If you are looking for a reason as to why we are losing this game, you need look no further than our field goal percentage. Our shooting has looked worse than Luke Schenscher’s hair. Mean while we have not been able to stop the Bucks once so ever they are shooting a higher field goal, three point, and free throw percentage than us, and have out rebounded us 22-18. If the Bulls lose this game they better start praying that Allen Iverson is out for a long time, because if not they have no chance at making the playoffs.

Disappointing. Nobody was shooting well. Only Noc was doing good. When I was watching the game in like the middle of the 3rd or something the officials made a couple of bad calls, but that wouldn't of done anything.
