is it just me or is our schedule of remaining games really hard... i mean were playing against PHO, LAC, SAS, NJN, CLE, Etc. and all of them are above 0.500 yikes!
well the road will but tough but the Lakers definitely need to finish the final 17 games atleast 3 games above .500. The teams in bold are the games they should win (keyword:should, but Laker fans know that's not the case) Minnesota @ New Jersey @ Cleveland @ Boston Sacramento Milwaukee NO/Okla. City San Antonio @ Seattle Houston @ Denver @ Phoenix L.A. Clippers Golden State Portland Phoenix NO/Okla. City ^^I personally believe that's probably how it'll turn out, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset or two (either BY or TO the Lakers).
^I disagree with Denver,Clippers, and New Jersey. I also think Milwaukee is a pretty questionable choice but I think you could add boston as a win.

As for the Clippers. I don't see how you could mark that down as a win at this stage. They've been better than the Lakers this year and blew the Lakers out less than a month ago.

However, I think the Celtics are a team that will beat the Lakers, since the Lakers usually play to the level of their opponents.

BTW No upset is probable. The whole point of an upset is that it's unexpected.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AnimeFANatic:</div><div class="quote_post">Imagine where the Lakers would be with Caron Butler and not lazy Kwame</div> It was a dumb deal, but by the same token he's hardly made Washington a better team. Washington were 8 games over .500 last year, this year they're 3 over.

I'm going to change the thread title to: Predict the Rest of the Way Minnesota @ New Jersey @ Cleveland @ Boston Sacramento Milwaukee NO/Okla. City San Antonio @ Seattle Houston @ Denver @ Phoenix L.A. Clippers Golden State Portland Phoenix NO/Okla. City They will win at least 12 in my eyes.

We need all those wins. But anyhow......I have a feeling they might be able to get the 6th seed if they push it a little.
can't wait til the 2nd Hornets game, last game of the regular season and I'm going to it. Haven't been able to go to games the last few years because of school and trying to pay off my car, so I'm really excited about that one.

Cleveland and Boston are going to be tough to beat at home.
Cleveland will be tough. Especially Boston. What I hate is that we always play at the same level as our opponents. We never play with high octane fuel all the time. Sacramento. If we beat them in Staples its split 2-2. They beat us at Arco, we beat them at Staples. But like what Odom said to Payton in Miami. Kings... "We'll see yall in LA!"
I'm 3/3 so far in predicting the Lakers record. LA needs to go on a 3 or 4 game winning streak. They can't keep winning 2, then lose 2, etc.
